FIORENTINA 3 (Rodriguez 57 Pen, Rossi 72, Cuadrado 75)
SASSUOLO 4 (Berardi 23 Pen, Berardi 33, Berardi 42, Sansone 65)
Berardi has been very quiet since his four goals against Milan so a third hat-trick of the season was a major surprise. He converted a penalty awarded for a Valero handball. Sansone made his second on the counter attack with a great angled pass. Under pressure from Zaza, Pizarro played a hospital pass across his own box, allowing Berardi to complete a first half hat-trick. Joaquin went down for Fiorentina's penalty. Sansone weaved his way in between three defenders to score the pick of the goals. The feeble Rossi finished off a fine move involving Cuadrado and Valero to make it 2-4. Three minutes later Cuadrado outran the Sassuolo defence and lobbed over Pegolo as he came off his line but Sassuolo held on to take a giant step towards safety.

Keita punished Marques' poor touch to tee up Lulic for Lazio's second. Sala slipped a tackle and put in Iturbe for the equaliser. Romulo put Verona 2-3 up as Lazio's defenders stood and watched Hallfredsson centre from the left. A complete dive by Klose won Lazio a last second penalty and earned Albertazzi an unjust dismissal. CATANIA 4 (Izco 26, Izco 34, Bergessio 56, Barrientos 79)
ROMA 1 (Totti 37)
Roma went into this game knowing defeat would hand Juventus the title and promptly folded against the team bottom of Serie A. Leto laid off Bergessio's back heel for Izco to slot past De Sanctis. Bergessio was also involved in the second, sandwiched between two defenders he flicked on a cross and Izco lost Taddei before volleying into the left corner. Excellent finish. Florenzi headed on a pass for Totti who hammered a half volley past Frison to begin what everyone must have thought was going to be a comeback but Bergessio quickly restored Catania's two goal lead after the break. Leto floored De Sanctis with a stinging drive and Bergessio pounced to make it 3-1. Bergessio dummied Izco's centre for Barrientos and he took a touch before blasting a 25 yard drive inside the right post. Fantastic goal.
