CAGLIARI 3 (Ibarbo 18, Vecino 81, Ibraimi 89)
UDINESE 0
Ibarbo bounced an Astori longball ball his chest and held off Naldo to shoot Cagliari into the lead. 22 year old Uruguayan midfielder Vecino, on loan from Fiorentina, volleyed in Cagliari's second from an Ibraimi free kick. Ibraimi also scored his first Serie A goal on a counter attack. Running in from the right he feigned to shoot, throwing off Danilo, then hammered inside the left post. Excellent goal.

ATALANTA 2 (Carmona 21, Cigarini 85)
CHIEVO 1 (Dainelli 72)
Carmona got hold of a loose ball and gave it a thump, beating Agazzi all ends up via a massive deflection. Dainelli headed in the equaliser from a superb Guarante free kick but five minutes from time Cigarini, who played six games for Sevilla at the turn of the decade, fired in the winner from Denis' lay-off.

GENOA 2 (Antonelli 14, Sturaro 85)
CATANIA 0
Antonelli scored following a goalmouth scramble. Bellusci was shown a second yellow for pulling back Motta but the visitors held on until five minutes from time when Sturaro ran through a defender before angling a shot into the left corner, the 21 year olds first Serie A goal.
Gandalf Gasperini's 8th win in 20 games since returning to the club. When you look at the make-up of his mostly Italian team, in additional to Sturaro two regular starters are 21 or younger (Perrin and Konate) and with 23 year old Bertolacci at the heart of their midfield you realise just what an idiotic mistake Inter made by replacing him with Mazzarri, who has no faith in young players.

MILAN 0
JUVENTUS 2 (Llorente 44, Tevez 68)
Milan actually played really well in the first half and would have been leading but for the feeble Kaka' and Poli, who chokes miserably in big games. Having survived a rare half in which their opponents bossed possession a simple longball unglued Milan. Rami tried to head over Bonucci's longball, Abbiati should have put Marchisio under pressure but was far too slow of his line, Tevez laid off Marchisio's pass, Lichtsteiner centred and Llorente tapped in at the back post. More horrible defending sent Juve 11 points clear of Roma, as Tevez lined up to shoot Bonera graciously moved out of the way, 0-2.
