JUVENTUS 2 (Llorente 32, Llorente 35)
LIVORNO 0

Llorente scored two goals in two minutes as Juve, to no one's surprise, rebounded from last week's Napoli defeat. His first was a brilliant shot on the turn which flew into the roof of the net. His second was a trademark header though Livorno goalkeeper Bardi should have saved.

Attendance : 39,284
Assists : Tevez, Pirlo

GENOA 1 (Abbiati 73 og)
MILAN 2 (Taarabt 20, Honda 56)

Kaka' dummied Mexes' ball out of defence to Taarabt who received it 30 yards from goal, turned, ran wide then fired low into the left corner. His assist for Honda's first Milan goal was excellent. He weaved his way in between two players and split Genoa's offside trap, Honda poked the ball past a defender and lobbed over Perrin as he came off his line. Milan ball watched a corner, Motta smashed a high volley against the underside of the crossbar, off Abbiati's backside and into the net.

Attendance : 20,941
Assists : n/a, Taarabt, n/a

LAZIO 2 (Candreva 42, Lulic 73)
SAMPDORIA 0

Lazio maintained their push for European place with a comfortable victory in the Rome sunshine. Candreva tapped in the opener just before half time from Keita's centre. Despite being reduced to ten men for a sloppy challenge, Lazio doubled their lead when Lulic smashed home from Mauri's cutback.

Attendance : 33,000
Assists : Keita, Mauri

ATALANTA 0
SASSUOLO 2 (Sansone 34, Sansone 71)

Atalanta had won six games in a row so must have banked on thrashing bottom of the table Sassuolo. Sansone gathered a loose ball and angled a shot past Consigli. He added a second with a free kick that Consigli had no excuse for failing to save.

Sassuolo's win means they complete a double over Atalanta, surely the only double they will claim this season.

Attendance : 14,000
Assists : n/a, Missiroli

CAGLIARI 1 (Pinilla 89 Pen)
ROMA 3 (Destro 32, Destro 56, Destro 74)

Destro played in Gervinho for a goal, Astori tackled him and collided with his goalkeeper, forcing Gervinho wide, he recovered to centre for Destro's first. Destro tapped in his second from a deflected pass and completed his first career hat-trick after good work by Gervinho and Florenzi. Somewhere in this match Destro struck a Cagliari player to earn himself a three game ban + another game for picking up a yellow card which means Roma will be without their only in from striker. What a moron. He could well end up costing them the scudetto, even though it is a longshot. Benatia fouled Pinilla for the penalty and having missed two (at least) this season he made no mistake this time round.

Attendance : 4,500
Assists : Gervinho, Nainggolan, Florenzi, Pinilla (won pen)

CATANIA 1 (Bergessio 2)
TORINO 2 (Farnerud 79, Immobile 83)

A terrible mistake in the Torino defence gifted Bergessio a second minute goal but Torino turned things around inside four second half minutes. Farnerud ran into traffic onto El Kaddouri's pass and fired off a quick shot before he could be tackled. Immobile scored his 18th goal of the season with a tame shot that creeped past Meggiorini at his near post.

Attendance : 14,000
Assists : Barrientos, El Kaddouri, Meggiorini

FIORENTINA 2 (Cuadrado 25, Rodriguez 72 Pen)
UDINESE 1 (Pasqual 82 og)

Cuadrado gave Fiorentina the lead via a massive deflection off Danilo then dived for the penalty. Rai credit Pasqual with an own goal though it didn't appear as if Fernandes cross, and it must have been a cross from such a ridiculous angle, took a deflection.

Attendance : 31,000
Assists : Pizarro, Cuadrado (won pen), n/a

PARMA 1 (Parolo 55)
NAPOLI 0

Attendance : 14,841
Assist : Cassani

Attendance : 10,000

INTER 2 (Icardi 6, Icardi 63)
BOLOGNA 2 (Cristaldo 35, Kone 73)

Icardi tapped in Nagatomo's centre to give struggling Inter the perfect start. Handanovic made a sensational save with his feet to deny Pazienza from point blank range but Cristaldo got hold of the rebound and blasted a shot into the bottom right corner. Icardi scored an awesome second, turning onto Hernanes' pass he crashed a 20 yard shot in off the right post. Brilliant goal. Brilliant talent. Cambiasso made a typically limp wristed attempt to head clear a cross and Kone was quickest to a deflection. Six minutes from time Inter were awarded a penalty for the first time in 33 games but Milito missed.

Attendance : 38,817
Assists : Nagatomo, n/a, Hernanes, n/a
