INTER 2 (Cambiasso 72, Jonathan 83)
FIORENTINA 1 (Rossi 60 Pen)
Juan Jesus pulled down Joaquin to concede the penalty. Fiorentina failed to deal with a corner, Campagnaro headed the ball back in play and Cambiasso bounced it off his chest to acrobatically volley past Agazzi. Great goal. Alvarez found Jonathan unmarked at the back post and he recovered from an awful first touch to smash in the second.
Attendance : 38,291

BOLOGNA 3 (Laxalt 33, Laxalt 52, Cristaldo 62)
MILAN 3 (Poli 12, Robinho 89, Abate 90)
Poli, who has been Milan's player of the season, despatched a Robinho pass. Laxalt, on loan from Inter, stunned Milan either side of half time. Abate and Zapata ball watched a flick on and the Uruguayan ran through before beating Abbiati at his near post. He got above Abate to head in Christodoulopoulos (I wonder if anyone has a shirt with his name on the back of it?) cross and ten minutes later Cristaldo scored with a great diving header. Robinho tapped in a rebound and Abate did the same to score his first ever Milan goal and earn Allegri a temporary stay of execution.

CHIEVO 1 (Thereau 28)
JUVENTUS 2 (Quagliarella 47, Bernardini 65 og)
Thereau smacked home a half volley as once again Juve failed to keep a clean sheet. Quagliarella scored at the third attempt after Puggioni twice denied him from point blank range. Bernardini sliced Pogba's cross into his own net.

CATANIA 1 (Barrientos 6)
Andujar fumbled a Candreva free kick and Ederson spun to fire in Hernanes' pass. Barrientos punished a mistake by Cana to draw Catania level. Lulic drilled a low shot in off a post and Hernanes also found the bottom corner from distance.

NAPOLI 1 (Dzemaili 15)
SASSUOLO 1 (Zaza 20)
The was typical Benitez. Having won their first four games Napoli came unstuck against rock bottom Sassuolo. Dzemaili looked to setup another thrashing for the promoted side with a trademark shot from distance but five minutes later Zaza split two defenders as he ran onto Kurtic's pass and from wide left on goal hammered a shot into the roof of the net. Brilliant finish.
Zaza is definitely one to keep an eye on. He has the size many of Italy's young forwards lack and could go on to be a back-up for Balotelli.

PARMA 4 (Mesbah 19, Parolo 28, Rosi 35, Parolo 39)
ATALANTA 3 (Bonaventura 20, Denis 44, Livaja 79)
Milan reject Mesbah began the insanity when he curled a shot into the top right corner. Denis headed down a Yepes pass and Bonaventura trapped the ball on his chest before firing into the left corner. Parolo restored Parma's lead with a fantastic left foot volley. Rosi made it 3-1 from the edge of the box and Parolo absolutely lashed home a rebound after Cassano hit the base of a post. Atalanta came storming back when Denis scored with a delightful lob. Both teams remembered how to defend in the second half. Livaja headed in a Cigarini cross but ten man Parma held on to record their first victory of the season.

SAMPDORIA 0
ROMA 2 (Benatia 65, Gervinho 89)
I've no idea what Benatia was doing in attack but he scored a superb solo goal, dribbling through the Sampdoria defence and managing to squeeze a shot into the bottom corner despite losing his balance. Even more remarkable was the fact that Gervinho didn't fuck up from six yards out to put Roma two points clear at the top of Serie A after five successive wins.

TORINO 2 (Cerci 36 Pen, Cerci 53)
VERONA 2 (Gomez 44, Jorginho 66 Pen)
Cerci converted a penalty for blatant handball. Toni managed to slice the ball wide from a couple of yards out but Gomez was on hand to spare his blushes. An appalling goalkeeping mistake allowed Torino to restore their lead but Rodriguez went through the back of Toni to concede the second penalty.
