INTER 7 (Palacio 7, Taider 23, Pucino 33 og, Alvarez 53, Milito 63, Cambiasso 75, Milito 82)

Palacio began the rout when he tapped in a Nagatomo centre. Pomini parried from Palacio and Taider jumped to volley in the rebound and Taider forced the third when Pucino headed into his own net. Alvarez tapped in the fourth after once again Palacio drew a save from Sassuolo's beleaguered goalkeeper. Alvarez brilliantly setup Milito for a return goal after almost seven months out. Cambiasso made it six with a great first time shot from the edge of the box and Milito bagged the seventh from a Guarin? Centre.

TORINO 2 (D'Ambrosio 2, Cerci 46 Pen)

Padelli punched out a cross and D'Ambrosio headed into an empty net. Natali stumbled in the equaliser at the second attempt after his initial effort from a Di Natale free kick was saved. A ridiculous dive jobbed Bologna out of the points.

JUVENTUS 2 (Tevez 40, Llorente 48)
VERONA 1 (Cacciatore 37)

Moras headed down a corner and Cacciatore turned in the ball from close range as for the second time this week Juve were done on a set play. The goal riled the champions into action and Tevez equalised when he fired a Bonucci pass across goal. He hammered a shot against both posts before Llorente headed in the winner from a Vidal cross.

Attendance : 38,000
Assists : Moras, Bonucci, Vidal

ROMA 2 (Balzaretti 63, Ljajic 92 Pen)
LAZIO 0

Gervinho managed to head a Totti cross wide from a yard out but Balzaretti slammed a shot into the corner. Dirty Diaz was sent off for checking Totti and Roma completed revenge for their Coppa Italia final loss when Ljajic converted a last minute penalty after Ledesma pulled him down.

Attendance : 55,000

MILAN 1 (Balotelli 91)
NAPOLI 2 (Britos 6, Higuain 53)

History was made at the San Siro as Napoli defeated Milan on their own turn for the first time since Maradona inspired them to victory in 1986 and Balotelli's run of penalty conversion ended at 21 after Reina saved a 61st minute penalty.

Milan's hopeless set piece defending cost them an early lead, Britos headed in at the back post after Albiol headed a free kick across goal. Abbiati failed to make what should have been a routine save from Higuain. Balotelli scored a consolation goal with a beautiful curling shot from the edge of the box before getting himself sent off for complaining to the referee after being fouled in injury time. What an arse but he can't save Milan every week.

Milan delusionally had title ambitions following the embarrassing signing of Kaka' but given the poor start to the season, injury list and failure to address the real problem area over the summer i.e. central defence they're going to struggle to get third and it may well be for the best before these half arsed, penny pinching signings they have been making in recent seasons isn't befitting a club of their stature.

Attendance : 51,384
Red Card : Balotelli 94 (Milan)
Assists : Albiol, Zuniga, Niang

CAGLIARI 2 (Ekdal 26, Conti 90)
SAMPDORIA 2 (Gabbiadini 89, De Silvestri 93)

Ekdal played a one-two with Pinilla before running through and smashing past Da Costa. In a crazy final four minutes Gabbiadini equalised when Agazzi failed to hold his shot then Conti looked to have won the match with a free kick a minute later. Sansone headed down a longball, De Silvestri blasted a volley at Agazzi and it looked like he saved it but the ball took a cruel bounce and bobbled into the net.

Attendance : 2,000
Assists : Pinilla, Pozzi, Costa (won fk)

CHIEVO 2 (Pellissier 13, Rigoni 40)
UDINESE 1 (Maicosuel 1)

When trying to clear a longball Cesar flicked it towards Bernardini but Maicosuel mugged him to score. Pellissier beat a poorly positioned Kelava to equalise with a shot across goal. Rigoni completed a comeback victory via a massive deflection.

Chievo are a remarkable side. They've got no money and no fans but also they're not going anywhere i.e. Serie B.
