PALERMO 0
LAZIO 4 (Dordevic 45, Dordevic 75, Dordevic 83, Parolo 92)

Dordevic, signed from Nantes in the transfer window, scored his first goal from a counter attack at the end of the first half. The Serb scored a fantastic second. Lulic split two defenders with a ball to him, he trapped it and suddenly turned, sending Terzi on his arse, then curled a left foot shot inside a post. Dordevic completed his hat-trick with a brilliant half volley from a ridiculous angle. A stunning performance. Parolo initially miss-controlled a Ledesma free kick after screwing up a back heel but scored at the second attempt.

Attendance : 17,017
Assists : Candreva, Lulic, n/a, Ledesma (fk)

UDINESE 4 (Di Natale 28, Di Natale 45, Heurtaux 57, Thereau 83)
PARMA 2 (Mauri 22, Cassano 49 Pen)

Mauri gave Parma the lead via a deflection. Badu's excellent header allowed DI Natale to equalise and on the stroke of half-time he squeezed a deflected cross inside the left post. Cassano humiliated Karnezis with a Panenka. Heurtaux met Widmer's cross with a spectacular scissor kick, almost completing a full rotation as he landed. Thereau mugged a defender on he left flank before running in for the fourth.

Watching guys like Di Natale, Cassano and Totti makes you realise just how far behind technically many of the young players, in any league, are.

Attendance : 8,652
Red Card : Acquah 76 (Parma)
Assists : Cassano, Badu, n/a, Mauri (won pen), Widmer, n/a

SASSUOLO 0
NAPOLI 1 (Callejon 28)

Attendance : 10,000
Assist : Higuain

CESENA 1 (Succi 11)
MILAN 1 (Rami 19)

Abbiati was bamboozled by a bouncing ball, Succi tapped into an empty net. Rami headed in the equaliser from a Honda free kick. Zapata was sent off for pulling back Defrel when he was through on goal.

Two straight draws on the back of a defeat. The bloom is well and truly off the rose and this is the real level of Milan. Talk of a UCL place is fanciful and talk in fact has been the problem this season. Born liar Galliani and some sections of the press praised Milan for the transfer marker, as if signing rejects was anything to be proud of. Had they invested the same amount of energy on tactics and the defence they wouldn't be in this mess.

Attendance : 21,517
Red Card : Zapata 73 (Milan)
Assists : n/a, Honda

CHIEVO 1 (Meggiorini 50)
EMPOLI 1 (Pucciarelli 59)

Meggiorini turned onto Paloschi's pass to give Chievo the lead. Pucciarelli smashed in the equaliser after Maccarone headed on a cross.

Attendance : 21,517
Assists : Paloschi, Maccarone

INTER 1 (Osvaldo 18)
CAGLIARI 4 (Sau 10, Ekdal 29, Ekdal 34, Ekdal 44)

Sau punished Nagatomo's hospital pass to give Inter the lead. Palacio's quickly taken free kick allowed Inter to equalise. The game turned on a bullshit second yellow for Nagatomo. Inter imploded. Within two minutes Cagliari hit the front again. The Inter defence balled watched as Handanovic parried from Ibarbo and Ekdal whacked in the rebound. Ibarbo got down the right to pull back a centre for Ekdal's second. Handanovic saved a Cossu penalty, conceded by Vidic who has been an epic fail. Ekdal completed his hat-trick, scoring only the 8th goal of what has been a shite career, from a corner.

Attendance : 40,000
Red Card : Nagatomo 27 (Inter)
Assists : n/a, Palacio, n/a, Ibarbo, n/a

TORINO 1 (Quagliarella 62)
FIORENTINA 1 (Babacar 78)

Quagliarella was given an eternity to turn and shoot in the box. Babacar, who made his debut at 16 and not progressed, rounded Gillet and tapped into an empty net.

Fiorentina made a huge mistake in not selling Cuadrado. His value will never be higher than it was after the World Cup. They'll be lucky to get €25 million for him at the end of the season, especially if his performances don't improve greatly and given both front line strikers are out he didn't get his move he's unlikely to reach last seasons heights.

Attendance : 22,000
Assists : Bruno Peres, Bernardeschi

GENOA 0
SAMPDORIA 1 (Gabbiadini 75)

Attendance : 29,800
Assist : n/a

27 September 2014

ROMA 2 (Florenzi 75, Destro 86)
VERONA 0

Florenzi broke the deadlock with a fierce drive. Destro scored an amazing second. Standing outside the D, he bounced a De Sanctis goal-kick off his chest, turned and sent a 40 yard half volley screaming into the net. Fantastic goal.

Attendance : 40,432
Assists : n/a, De Sanctis

ATALANTA 0
JUVENTUS 3 (Tevez 35, Tevez 59, Morata 83)

As Lichtsteiner raced into the box, Sportiello ran out and went in two footed with an idiotic challenge, lucky for him Lichtsteiner vaulted over and a defender kicked Vidal up in the air (he should have been sent off), the ball broke to Tevez and he tapped into an empty net. Atalanta were gifted a penalty but Denis bottled it and Buffon easily saved. Sportiello should have saved the second, a low drive from Tevez. Morata came off the bench to score his first Juve goal, a fine flick header.

It's a shame Juve v Roma has come so early in the season. Both teams are streets ahead of everyone else.

Attendance : 22,000
Red Card : Colantuono 69 (Atalanta coach)
Assists : Lichtsteiner, Evra, Pereyra
