VERONA 2 (Toni 41 Pen, Pisano 78 og)
PALERMO 1 (Vazquez 18)

Verona's shit goalkeeper Rafael fumbled a Dybala back heel and Vazquez tapped in the rebound. Andjelkovic yanked away at Toni's shirt to concede a stupid penalty. Palermo's goalkeeper Benussi tossed away the points when he raced off his line to punch a longball, didn't get enough on it and it hit Pisano as he fell to hand Verona a cheap three points.

14 September 2014 SAMPDORIA 2 (Gabbiadini 34 fk, Okaka 79)
TORINO 0

Gabbiadini blasted a low free kick through a massive, unforgivable hole in the Torino wall. Okaka turned onto the ball at the half way line, dribbled infield, nutmegged Glik and angled a shot inside the left post all the while Glik was clearly pulling his shirt. He should have been sent off it was so blatant.

After the match Mihajlovic said Okaka had wasted the last 7 years and he's right because Okaka demonstrated this level of talent when he made his debut for Roma at 18. Lazy prick.

INTER 7 (Icardi 4, Kovacic 21, Icardi 30, Osvaldo 43, Icardi 53, Osvaldo 72, Guarin 74)
SASSUOLO 0

Icardi began the rout by scrambled Inter into a fourth minute lead. With his back to goal Osvaldo flicked on a cross for the onrushing Kovacic and he burst into the box before beating Consigli with an impudent flick. Icardi took a touch to control a Hernanes centre before whipping a shot inside the right post. Osvaldo made it 4-0 at half time after Consigli saved from Dodo.

Icardi completed his hat-trick with a fantastic first time shot from wide left of goal. Hernanes and Guarin combined to set-up Osvaldo for his second and two minutes later Guarin smashed in the 7th almost exactly a year after Inter beat Sassuolo 7-0.

Icardi and Kovacic are phenomenal prospects which of course means it won't be long before they leave Serie A.

LAZIO 3 (Candreva 19, Parolo 56, Mauri 90)
CESENA 0

Candreva smashed in a volley at the back post. Parolo scored his first goal for Lazio since joining from Parma - a looping header from Candreva's high cross. Mauri (why is he still playing) tapped in the third from Klose's centre.

Attendance : 25,000
Assists : Braafheid, Candreva, Klose

NAPOLI 0
CHIEVO 1 (Maxi Lopez 49)

Higuain dived to win a first half penalty but Chievo goalkeeper Bardi made a miraculous save down to his right to deny him. Albiol ball watched as Maxi Lopez strode onto an Izco through ball and fired past Rafael.

Apparently Napoli's fans are behind Benitez as they blame De Laurentiis for not backing him in the summer - because the vast sums they spent last season weren't enough. These morons deserve each other.

PARMA 4 (Cassano 27, Felipe 51, Lucarelli 73, De Sciglio 89 og)
MILAN 5 (Bonaventura 25, Honda 37, Menez 45 Pen, De Jong 68, Menez 80)

Milan received good news in the build-up. Torres was expected to make his debut but Rami injured him in training.

Bonaventura marked his debut with a goal when he let a Honda centre run across him before finding the bottom corner. Cassano headed in the equaliser against his (one of many) former clubs seconds later as Milan were still busy celebrating. It was his fourth goal in his last three games against Milan. Menez found Abate down and the right and for the second week in succession he produced a great cross which Honda emphatically headed past Mirante. Menez made the most of Lucarelli's stupid challenge to win a penalty.

At 1-3 that should have been it. Parma got a huge slice of luck when Jorquera horribly miscued a volley but the ball fell kindly to Felipe. 2-3. Bonera was shown a second yellow for a deliberate handball right on the edge of the penalty box, it may have been inside but it was hard to tell. Parma pinned Milan back in their half before De Jong scored an unlikely 50 yard solo effort. He intercepted Felipe's pass then dived in to tackle Cassano, stripping him of the ball, he ran forward, with all but one Parma defender in the Milan half, waited for Mirante to commit himself and tapped the ball into the bottom right corner. Lucarelli pulled it back to 3-4, punishing Milan's trademark weakness on set pieces with a thumping header from Palladino's corner. Menez dived again to earn Felipe a second yellow, referee Massa was awful and bought everything Menez sold him. Menez intercepted a backpass, flicked it around Mirante and as he scrambled across goal and dived at his feet, hit a hard back-heel volley into the roof of the net as he was running across goal! An incredible goal and early contender for goal of the season. Diego Lopez let an innocuous backpass roll into his own net, blowing a hamstring as he tried to turn and ran to clear the ball after miss controlling it. Parma couldn't muster another shot and Milan hung on to go top of the table.

Next week Milan are at home to Juventus which has train wreck written all over it. Even though Juve will be fatigued after a game in mid-week Milan's defence is awful and if Torres does play he's likely to screw up the attack.

Attendance : 15,000
Red Cards : Bonera 58 (Milan), Felipe 77 (Parma)
Assists : Honda, Jorquera, Abate, Menez (won pen), Jorquera, n/a, Palladino (ck), n/a, n/a

JUVENTUS 2 (Tevez 8, Marchisio 75)
UDINESE 0

European flop Tevez fired in a Lichtsteiner centre to give Juve an early lead. Tevez rolled a centre across the edge of the D and Marchisio blasted low past Karnezis. Too easy though Udinese and Di Natale always shit the bed when playing Juventus.

Attendance : 38,500
