Claudinho leaning header after a corner kick went beyond the grass of Atlas
keeper to start the scoring. Eight minutes later Valenzuela stole the ball of
Torre deep in midfield resulting in a shot from ten yards out past the keeper.
Gallaga scored the winning goal from a brilliant diving header. 


PUMAS				2-0			CHIAPAS

Just four minutes into the game Lemos opened the scoring with a great free
kick. Later Lopez fed a loose ball to Augusto who tap the bal into the net.
Chiapas didn't do anything to get into the game. 


PUEBLA				2-1			MONTERREY
Ramirez 50, 64						De Nigris 6

Garcia dropped a ball in front of De Nigris who let the ball bounce once and
volleyed over the onrushing keeper to put Monterrey ahead. In the second
half was all Ramirez his two goals in the half gave Puebla a win. The first
goal came from a header of a corner kick the second was a disputed goal
because he was offside his shot was under the legs of the keeper. 


MORELIA			3-1			CRUZ AZUL

Zepeda pounced on a mix up  in the Morelia defence to give Cruz Azul the lead.
Alex tied the game when his floated shot beat Perez into the far corner. Six
minutes into the second half Alex scored another goal this time with a first
time shot to the rightside of Perez. Abreu point blank header was brilliant
save by keeper. Into injury time Saavedra header from ten yards out went
past Perez. 


SANTOS				0-0			PACHUCA

Borgetti hit the post twice in the second half. Not alot of scoring chances in
the game. 


GUADALAJARA			1-1			SAN LUIS
Sanchez 44						Olvera 64

Just before half time Mora shot from seven yards out to the left of the keeper
hit the right post the ball went right back to Sanchez whose shot on goal was
under the legs of Marquez who was standing on the goal line. Osvaldo weakly
pouched out of Medina deep cross allow Olvera to volleyed into an empty net. 


TOLUCA				2-0			QUERETARO

Vicente sent a through ball to Cardozo who entered the box chip the ball over
the keeper into an empty net. Islas let fly a shot from twenty yards out that
beat the keeper but not the post. Lopez stretch Toluca lead with a curled free
kick. 


TECOS				2-2			ATLANTE

Palacios put Tecos ahead went he receive a past from Navia dribbled down past
his defender for a sharp angled shot with his left foot that found the right corner
of the net. Paredes tied the game with a great free kick just outside the box.
Three minutes later Palacios scored his second of the game with a first time
shot. Gonzalez got the equaliser from a breakaway play. 


AMERICA			5-1			VERACRUZ

Castillo scored the first goal of the game with a brilliant past move then chip
the ball over the keeper. Four minutes later Zamorano jump before his
defender to headed in the cross. Patino blew past Veracruz defence to scored
America third of the game. A run by Blanco into the Veracruz penalty area he
outmuscle Terrazas for the ball and sent a cross as the keeper came out to
challenge Zamorano tap in the ball. Mutute shot was deflected of Davino
who collided into Pardo amd the ball bounced to Rodriguez who easily knocked
into the net. America were awarded a penalty after Mendoza was foul in the
box Blanco took the penalty and scored. 


TIGERS				3-2			NECAXA

Sanchez 48

Suarez opened the scoring with a point blank header no chance for the keeper.
Suazo long pass to Olade who got the ball back to Chavez for a chip shot past
Navarro. Minutes later Barrios cut the lead in half with a free kick that was
deflected into the net. Sanchez made it a two goal lead again from a first time
shot from twenty yards out. Deep into the half Espinoza brilliant past move
the box allow him space to volley the ball into the net.
