Toluca's greatest strenght is their attack with a lethal combination of Cardozo
and Zinha. Morales sent a throught ball to Zinha who entered the box cut
inside the defender and with a left footed shot beat the keeper. Two
miscalculations between the young Morelia keeper and the defenders allow
Cardozo to scored his two goals of the game. Iniguez headed the rebound
after the keeper made a save from Morales header but failed to control the
ball. Zinha scored his second of the game with a powerful shot to leftside of
the keeper.
CELAYA 1-1 VERACRUZ

Arce opned the scoring with a divind header from Terrazas cross. Two minutes
later Torre rightfooted shot beat the keeper for the equaliser. In injury time
Soto blew easy chance to win the game.
GUADALAJARA 1-1 CHIAPAS

Ramires dropped a ball in front of Bravo who dribbled past two defenders and
put the ball into the net. Mendoza shot was block by the defender Arce went
for the rebound and let fly a first time shot from 10 yards out.
MONTERREY 1-2 PUMAS

Leandro put Pumas ahead after he step over the ball then dribbled past
the defender and beat the keeper with a shot to the lower corner. Monterrey
wasted many chances to equlises or take the lead. In the second half
De Nigris dribbles past his defender cut inside another the cross the ball into
the box were Ervitti headed in the ball into the net. Six minutes later to the
end Marquez got the game winning goal after he stole the ball from the
keeper.
ATLAS 2-1 ATLANTE

In the twenty four minute Atlas to the lead Caballero sent a cross into the box
were Calderon let the ball bounce once and header the ball over the
onrushing keeper. Estay stunning shot from 25 yards out. In injury time Atlas
caught out the Atlante defence with a presicion long ball to Osorno who first
time volley shot beat the keeper.
AMERICA 2-1 SAN LUIS

Just eleven mintes into the game Zamorano gave America the lead from a
time volley over the keeper. Two minutes later Salcedo tap in Mendoza cross.
Villa caught out the San Luis defence with a presicion long past to Blanco who
leftfooted shot to the right post.
NECAXA 3-1 QUERETARO

Capria made a trough run that Castro saw crossing the ball to him who jump
before the defender to headed in the cross. Perez brilliant shot beat the keeper
but not the post the good thing is the ball rebound to Martinez who tap into
the net. Just before the half time Zague who was alone in the box headed in
the cross to scored his 200 goal in the mexican league. Queretaro came close
to equalised the game but Torres header hit the post. Lopez hauled down
Luna in the box awarded a penalty to Necaxa. Aguinaga step to the spot and
took the penalty to the right of the keeper.
TIGERS 3-1 TECOS

One minute into the game Briseno headed in the cross to scored the fastest
goal of the season. After the goal Tecos took contro of the game they had
many chances but Daouh made spectatular saves but he can't stop
volley shot. Soares cross the ball to Olalde who lashed the ball into the net.
Irenio score Tigers third goal from a rightfooted shot.
SANTOS 1-3 PUEBLA

This was a tail of two halfs the first half was for Santos they were awarded a
penalty after Ruiz was brought down in the box Borgetti took the penalty
spot and put the ball into the back of the net that was the only chance they
had. The second half it was diferented Puebla took control of the game
pressed forward and it pay-off after Sanchez headed in the corner. Coimbra
threw himself over Altamirano to win a penalty but his weak shot hit the
keeper knee the rebound cameback to Trotta who tap in the ball into the
net. Coimbra first time shot past the keeper finish a great second half for
Puebla.
