This was a match of two halfs the first half was all Celaya and they took the
lead from Claudinho stunning shot from 25 yards out. Just before the half
Claudinho shot was save by the keeper but failed to control the rebound
Ortega raced to the ball and tap in. Tecos took control of the second half. 
antillana beat the keeper from a brilliant rightfooted shot.  Palacios dribbled
past two defenders and from a left angle lashed the ball into the net. Injury
time Azconzabal won the match from a free kick. 
 
 
AMERICA			1-0			GUADALAJARA

The derby of Mexican soccer. America was the best team in the game thats why
they deserve to win. They were awarded a penalty kick when Sanchez
deliberate handball in the box Zamorano weak spot kick was easily saved.
Just before the end Lipatin volleyed the ball with the outside of the foot over
the onrushing keeper into the net. When the keeper is the best player for
Guadalajara you're in trouble. 


SANTOS				0-0			QUERETARO

Both teams could have sealed the win but their profligacy in front of the net
made this match scoreless.

Caballero pulled down the cross stepped inside the defender and his poweful
shot to the leftside beat the keeper. Necaxa were awarded a penalty when
Chavez hauled down striker Castro took the penalty and scored. Morales tap
in Machon cross for the lead just before half time Mendez cross was deflected
into the net from Reynoso for own goal. This time Reynoso headed in the cross
to scored his second of the game.


MORELIA			2-0			MONTERREY

Just six minutes into the game Morelia was up one-zero thanks to Alex who
beat the offside trap. De Nigres had Monterrey first attempt at goal his shot
hit the post. Saavedra raced into the box to tap in Alex cross. 


SAN LUIS			1-0			PUEBLA

San Luis was the team that had more chances to score in the first half.
In the second half Medina flicked on Lopez cross to Garcia who beat his
defender to the ball to headed into the net. 


PACHUCA			3-3			CHIAPAS

Rodriguez opened the scoring with a powerful shot to the upper side to beat
the keeper. Four minutes later Yegros got the equaliser from a header.
Victorino gave Pachuca the lead from a right-footed shot that resulted in a
brilliant combination between Victorino and Rodriguez. The quick free kick by
Mendez found Sanchez alone in the box who first time shot beat the keeper.
The best goal of the round was by Yegros who let the ball bounce once and
then make a spectatular half scissor kick to the leftside to beat the keeper.
In injury time the keeper Calero headed in the corner kick to steal a point. 


PUMAS				2-1			VERACRUZ

All of the scoring took place in the first half. Leandro cross was put in the back
of the net by Gonzalez first time shot. Barranga stretch Pumas lead from a
powerful header. Terrible miscalculation between the keeper and defender
allow Arce to headed in the cross.

Their was only one goal score in the first half that was Cardozo four goal of
the season. In the scond half half Naelson headed in Carmona cross eight
minutes later Gonzalez cut the lead in half from a brilliant rightfooted shot
to the leftside of the keeper. Espinoza put Toluca up by two again from a
free kick final minutes of the game Banos dribbled past the keeper to scored.


CRUZ AZUL			vs			TIGERS
 
This game was postponed as Cruz Azul were in Spain.
