The only goal of the game came until the last minutes on a breakway plat
from Patino who let a curled shot that hit the post the rebound cameback to
Blanco who tap in the rebound. With the win America secure the top position
in group one.


SAN LUIS			1-0			ATLAS

San Luis wanted to finish the season with a win and they did. Faria receive a
long past from Marquez he chested the ball down dribbled inside the defender
and fire a poweful shot to the right. San Luis has to have another good season
next year if they want to stay in the top flight.


CRUZ AZUL			1-1			CELAYA
Palencia 71						Torre 20

Everything look good for Celaya they were in control of the game they had
many chances to score but their poor finishing cost then three points at the
end. Torre headed in the corner kick. Zepeda cross the ball into the box Abreu
and the keeper went for it they collided in mid air the ball cameback to
Palencia who just tap in the ball in.


PACHUCA			1-1			PUEBLA
Santana 6						Mascorro 17

Santana scored just minutes from the start on a espectatular individual play
dribbled around two defender and volleyed the ball over the kepeer. Mascorro
who got his first start of the season gave Puebla the equaliser from the
penalty spot to scored his goal.


TECOS				2-0			CHIAPAS

Palacios 88

In the first game both teams didn't have many chances to score it was a poorly
play. But in the second Tecos wanted the ball they started to dominated the
game. Navia was foul in the box he took the penalty himself and converted.
Later he sent a long pass to Palacios who brough the ball down with the leg
dribbled once and let a powerful shot past the keeper. This was the best season
that Tecos had in many years. 


NECAXA				2-1			MONTERREY
Luna 52, 82						De Nigris 25

De Nigris gave Monterrey the lead with a delighful shot from seven yards out
that was the only scoring chance that Monterrey were able to create. Necaxa
took control of the game in the second half Luna equalised the game from a
brilliant free kick from twenty yards out. Later Zague miss a penalty kick that
couldid seal the win that goal came until eight minutes from time Luna this
time headed in the cross.


PUMAS				2-2			MORELIA

This game was a tail of two halfs the first half belong to Morelia were they
scored twice on brilliant plays. Saavedra did a one-two combination with
Bautista to put the ball into the net. Four minutes to half time Alex scored
his 13th goal of the season from a first time shot. Pumas took control of 
the second half but they blew chance after chance and it look like they were
going home empty until the last five minutes of the game were they scored
twice from the penalty spot and free kick.


QUERETARO			4-2			GUADALAJARA

Before the match Mr.  Vergara was presented as the new owner of Guadalajara
paid a record fee for the team. Vazquez opened the scoring with a leftfooted
shot. Beginez scored twice in a span of  15-minutes. Just one minute into the
second half Garay gave Queretaro a two goal lead from a header. Mora play
a decent match scoring a goal in a lucky play. Later Lujambio seal the victory
with a brillliant crossed shot. 


ATLANTE			4-1			VERACRUZ

Padilla 90

Atlante started the match very well and Rubirosa opened the scoring in the third
minute of the game with a rightfooted shot past keeper. After the break Atlante
still dominated the match and two goals in a five minutes a rocket shot and
simple tap in gave Gonzalez 13th goals in the season. Defender Moralez score
the consolation goal for Veracruz from headed in the corner kick. Twenty
seconds later Padilla dribbled the ball from his own half to the box of Veracruz
were he finish the play with a leftfooted shot. Veracruz finish with 18 points in
19 games with a percentage of . 9474 that means next season they have to
again more than 36 points if they want to stay in the first division. 


SANTOS				5-2			TOLUCA
Lillingston 1, 16, 33, 39					Vicente 69
Manjarin 23						Cardozo 87

This was the surprice of the round. Lillingston scored just one minutes into
the game with a brilliant first time shot in the 16th he scored his second on a
free kick. Manjarin made it three-zero when he converted the penalty. The
three goal for lillingston came from a tap in after Borgetti shot hit the post four
minutes later he scored his fourth of the game from a delighful backheel. In
the second half Vicente and Cardozo scored for Toluca it was the tewnty-nine
goal for Cardozo and this could be his last season in the Mexicanleague 
because three clubs in Spain want him.
