Very little scoring chances for both teams. De Nigirs came close to open the
scoring but his header was wide. 


GUADALAJARA			0-0			NECAXA

Zague had two scoring chances both of then were spectacular save by Sanches. 


SAN LUIS			1-1			SANTOS
Maestri 86						Borgetti 24

Borgetti opened the scoring on a breakaway play to finish with a shot to the
right side of the keeper. Four minutes from time Maestri secure a pointfor
San Lius with a brilliant diving header. 


PACHUCA			1-1			ATLANTE
Silvani 84						Estay 25

Atlante took control of the game from the start that control let Estay to scored
with a first time shot. The keeper and Anda collided went they try to clear
Victorino cross the ball drop in front of Silvani whot tap in. 


CELAYA				2-0			QUERETARO

Ortega 90

Torre chested  down the cross with the inside of the foot volleyed the ball over
the defender and beat the keeper with a leftfooted shot. Celaya press for
another goal in the second half and it look like was not going to be until
minute 90 when Ortega was taking down in the box he took the penalty and
scored. 


TIGERS				2-1			MORELIA

Alex put Morelia ahead with a brilliant passing move around his defender and
from a right angel beat the keeper. On the last play of the first half Chavez
equalised the game from a free kick just outside the box. Noriega was call
for deliberate handball in the box, the keeper came close to save the penalty
kick Suarez was lucky. 


PUEBLA				2-1			ATLAS
Coimbra 66						Florez 17
Caballero 90

This game was between the two last place teams in group one. A great free
kick from twenty yards out by Florez gave Atlas the lead. Coimbra beat the
keeper to the ball on a cross to headed in ball into empty net. It lool like this
game was going to end up in a tie until Caballero had somethig to said with
a point blank shot from seven yards out. 


AMERICA			1-2			TOLUCA

This was the best game of the round on paper because it was between the
to best teams in the league and the were fighting for the top spot in group
one. Pardo put America ahead with a brilliant curled ball to the top corner
from a free kick. Cardozo diving header hit the post and Castillejo tap in the
rebound for the equaliser. Vicente sent a through ball to Cardozo who
volleyed the ball over the onrushing keeper to scored and give America their
first lost of the league. 


CRUZ AZUL			5-1			VERACRUZ
Pinheiro 11, 38						Morales 64
Zepeda 60, 83 
Cacho 37

Pinheiro and Zepeda each scored twice amazing all from headed in corner kicks.
Cacho took a past from Abreu dribbled down the left side in a duel with
Terrazas worked around him enough for a lower angle shot to beat the keeper.
Perez failed to control Matute shot the rebound cameback to Morales who
blasted the ball into the net. 


TECOS				4-3			PUMAS
Donizete 84, 90						Augusto 22

Palacios 37						Emerson 60

Navia fed a loose ball to Camps who tapped in the ball to give Tecos the ead.
Two minutes later Augusto headed in the cross. Palacios stunning shot from
twenty yards out to the lower side beat the keeper. Lozano gave Pumas the
equaliser with a free kick just outside the box. Emerson dribbled past two
defenders enter the box his shot went under the legs of the keeper into the
net. Donizete took control in the final ten minutes to give Tecos three very
deserve point by scoring twice in a span of six minutes.
