Alex scored in the twenty-first minute leading his team to a victory. On the
scoring play Alex curled a brilliant first time shot into the lower corner. 


PACHUCA			2-0			NECAXA
Arango 26, 80

Clombian striker Arango scored twice first with a header to the right side
of the keeper, later with a great free kick. Calero posted his first shutout of
the season. Necaxa only had one chance of goal in the game. 


SAN LUIS			1-1			CELAYA

Marquez hit the right post and Faria got the rebound to put the ball in the
net with the keeper out of position. Claudinho set up the goal for Celaya with
a pass from twenty yards out. Torre redireted the pass with the side of his
head just inside the left post. 


PUMAS				2-2			CRUZ AZUL

Pumas kept out Cruz Azul attack until midway through the first half when
Cabrera headed in the cross. Chacho gave Cruz Azul a two goal lead just
before half time when he chested the ball down and volleyed over the
keeper. Brown collided with Emerson outside the penalty area Trujillo curled
a rightfooted shot past Perez. Five minutes later he headed in the corner kick
for his second of the game. 


ATLANTE			2-2			TIGERS

Sancho took a pass from Olalde and gave Tigers the lead with a goal from
five yards out. After a quick restart by Atlante forward Banos beat the keeper
with a shot to the right side. Olalde was taken down by Godinez in the box
Suarez took and converted the penalty. Chavez tried to tackle Banos but
bounced off and he slotted the ball into the bottom corner. 


VERACRUZ			3-0			CHIAPAS

Arce opened the scoring from a deflected free kick. Moctezuma wasted
Chiapas only genuine scoring chance of the half. Rodriguez was alone in the
box after Chiapas defenders mix up his shot was just before the onrushing
keeper could saved. Morales scored from a header after his initial effort had
been saved. 


QUERETARO			5-2			ATLAS

Queretaro did all its scoring in a 37 minutes span. Gonzalez scored in the first
minute of the game with a stunning shot from twenty out. Seven minutes later
Gonzalez scored his second of the game with a brilliant diving header. Lujambio
sent a long pass to Garay on a run down the center of the field and beat
the keeper with a first time shot. This time was Lujambio who headed in Garay
corner kick. Zavala saw his spectatular scissor kick hit the left post the rebound
cameback to him to blasted the ball into net. The hat trick for Gonzalez came
a curled shot past the keeper from twenty yards out. The only goal of the
second half was score by Machon from the penalty spot. 


SANTOS				4-2			GUADALAJARA

Borgetti put Santos ahead from brilliant header. Guadalajara equaliser came
after the keeper dove to save Sanchez shot but failed to control the rebound
Ramirez went for the reboundand tap in the ball before the defender could
get their. Mora scored the go ahead goal with a first time shot no chance for
the keeper to stopped that. Ruiz lazy pass back toward the Guadalajara net
was intercepted by Altamirano resulting in an easy score past the keeper.

Cardozo broke his scoring slump with a hat trick his first goal came from a point
blank header shot ten yards out. The second came from a disputed play
because he pulled down the ball with the hand to beat Campos with a first
time shot. Sanchez headed in Vicentes cross just before half time. Garcia
through ball past Ramirez caught out Puebla defence he chip the bal over the
onrushing Campos. Carmona dropped a ball in from of Cardozo he let it bounce
once and from a left angle blasted the ball into the net.
