In the first ten minutes of the Tigers were the team that had control of the
game they came capitalize on that. Estay sent a though ball to Rergis who
beat the keeper with a first time shot. Just before the half Ruiz qualises for
Tigers with a rightfooted shot to the opposed post. The game winning goal
came courtesy of Morales who tap in the cross. 


MONTEREY			1-1			CRUZ AZUL

All of the scoring took place in the second half. Abreu headed in Osorio cross
to put Cruz Azul ahead. The equaliser for Monterey came when Yegros
volleyed the ball over the keeper. 


NECAXA				2-0			LEON

Necaxa took the lead from Castro leftfooted shot to the right of the keeper. 
Solano double the lead in the final minutes of the game. 


AMERICA			2-1			PUEBLA

A terrible mix up between Pardo and Davino in the box allow Capetillo to
scored from 5 yards out. In the second half Rios enter the game and America
look much better he scored the equaliser for then. Just to the end America
were awarded a penalty when Castillo was push down Patino
took and made the penalty.


PUMAS				2-0			TOLUCA

Lopez opened the scoring with a great header. Toluca look for the equaliser
but their profligacy in front of the net didn't help. Six minutes from time
Pumas got their second of the game from Augusto. 


TECOS				1-2			ATLAS

Just eleven minutes into the game Atlas took the lead thanks to Osorno header.
Tecos first chance of the game came in minute 30 when Valdez header hit the
post. Later in the game nothing was going to prevent Valdez to scored the
equaliser after he pounced the ball into the net. Calderon pulled down
the cross and with a rightfooted shot beat the keeper. 


LA PIEDAD			4-0			CELAYA

Medina 74

Claudinho began the slaughter with a shot over the top corner to beat the
keeper. Minutes later he scored his second of the game when he beat the
offside trap dribbled past the keeper to scored.  Coemer headed in the corner
four minutes later Medina let the ball bounce once and his right-footed
shot to the upper post beat the keeper. 


MORELIA			4-1			PACHUCA

Alex put Morelia ahead just two minutes in the game with a brilliant header.
Rodriguez headed in the cross. After Pachuca goal the game Morelia took
of the game and they pressed  pay off when Chavez shot from 10 yards out
beat the keeper. In the final five minutes of the game Iniguez scored twice
from a rightfooted shot to the left and from a header. 


SANTOS				5-1			VERACRUZ

A brilliant half volley from Gomes gave Santos the lead. Lillingston kneed
the ball into the net after Ruiz header hit the post. Gomes got his second of
the game after terrible defence allow his shot to beat the keeper one minute
later Lillingston deflected the shot into the net for the four goal of the
game for Santos. Altamirano finish the scoring with a tap in.
