America pressed forward from the start because they had to scored twice and
it was going to be hard because Necaxa had the best defence in the playoffs.
Zamorano headed in the corner in the 34 minute to give America the lead
they try to scored a second but the post had another idea. In the second
have Patino was foul near the box and this allow Pardo to take the free kick
and scored one of the best goal of the season.In extra time Patino scored
the golden goal for America after he chested the ball down and dribbled
past the defender and beat the keeper with a rightfooted shot to the upper
post. This was the first tittle for Ameica since 1989.

AMERICA win 3-2 in aggregate.

Necaxa took the lead from Luna brilliant free kick. Zamorano hit the post that
could had equalised the game for America. Just before half time Rios made a
great save that could have give Necaxa their second of the game. Sosa sent
a through ball to Zague who first time shot the the lower left post beat the
keeper.
