Capello Ridicules Sacchi

Having guided Real Madrid to the Spanish title in dramatic fashion, coach Fabio Capello has ridicules his mentor, Arrigo Sacchi, after he accused Capello of winning against mediocre opposition :

"His words are a compliment for me, especially because they come from a coach who got the door slammed in his face twice in Spain. He joined Atletico Madrid and they sent him away, he joined Real Madrid with a directorial role and they sent him home too. I guess he still has not woken up after receiving those two blows."

Capello also couldn't resist a swipe at Inter after revelations of falsie their accounts ahead of the 2005 - 2006 campaign.

"It would be great if they stripped the Nerazzurri of that title and they were to assign it to Roma. I kept on hearing statements in Spain on how Inter’s Scudetto win was clean and honest."
