Former Brazil coach Santana Dies

Former Brazil and Sao Paulo coach Tele Santana has died aged 74. Santana was most famous for his 1982 Brazil side which featured Zico, Socrates and Falcao. The team played wonderful football and are considered one of the best Brazil sides of all time, even though they didn't win the World Cup. In the early 90's he coached Sao Paulo to consecutives Copa Libertadores and Intercontinental Cup victories.
 
Gerrard Rules Out Real Move

Reacting to a statement by Real Madrid's director Benito Floro that the club want to sign Steven Gerrard the midfielder said :

"I'm settled and happy at Liverpool and I am not going to go through another summer like the last two. I will be staying here until the day someone tells me they don't want me."
