Koller Out For Six Months

Dortmund and Czech Republic striker Jan Koller has been ruled out for six months
after picking up a knee injury the Bundesliga match against Mainz two weeks ago.

Former Coach Dies On TV Show

Former Genoa and Tunisia coach Franco Scoglio died in his chair of a heart attack
during a live television broadcast on Monday. Scoglio was being interviewed on a
local television show in Genoa. Scoglio was best known for leading Genoa into
Serie A in 1988 and had a three year stint as coach of the Tunisian national team
between 1998-2001.

Guidolin Surprise Replacement For Deschamps

In a surprise move former Udinese coach Francesco Guidolin has been announced as
new Monaco coach, succeeding Didier Deschamps who resigned on September the
19th after a poor start to the season. Guidolin was coach of Genoa but quit after the
club were relegated into Serie C, having won promotion to Serie A, after a match
fixing scandal. Last season Guidolin lead Udinese to a fourth place finish in Serie A.
