21 August 2005 Mourinho's Response to Carvalho Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho wrote the following comments in the program notes to Chelsea's match against Arsenal in response to criticism from Ricardo Carvalho over his relegation to the bench : "One of the many reasons why Chelsea were champions last season was because everybody thought about Chelsea and nobody had selfish feelings. When after the first Premiership game this season, not after 10 or 15 or 20 games, when Ricardo (Carvalho) doesn't respect the essence of the group, then he needs time to learn it. Steaua Fined for Cisse Abuse UEFA have fined Steaua Bucharest €19,500 after Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse was subjected to racist abuse (monkey chants) during the clubs Champions League qualifier earlier this month. CSKA Sofia were also fined after their supporters directed monkey chants at Shelbourne player Ndo Joseph during another Champions League qualifier. Treviso Banned From Home Treviso, who have been promoted to Serie A, will be unable to play their home games at their Omobono Tenni stadium as it does not meet minimum capacity safety requirements.
