An explanation of the keys used in the squad lists : GOALS O = Scored from open play F = Scored from a free kick P = Scored from a penalty T = Total number of goals scored ASSISTS GOALS O = Scored from open play F = Scored from a free kick P = Scored from a penalty T = Total number of goals scored ASSISTS An assist is the final pass or cross that results in a goal being scored. If a pass or cross takes a deflection before it ends up in the back of the net that does not count as an assist. If a shot takes a deflection off an opposition team-mate that does not count as an assist. If a shot takes a deflection off a team-mate an assist is awarded to the player who had the initial shot and a goal is awarded to the player who last touched the ball. If a shot strikes a post or the crossbar and is then converted by another player, the player who had the initial shot is not credited with an assist. We do not count secondary assists i.e. the pass to the player that makes the assist. O = An assist from open play D = An assist from a dead ball i.e. free kick or corner W = An assist to a player who wins a penalty or free kick from which a goal is scored T = Total number of assists
