ARSENAL 3 (Gervinho 27, Van Persie 73, Van Persie 82)
STOKE 1 (Crouch 34)

Arsenal's mini revival continued as two late Robin Van Persie goals saw off Stoke. Van Persie started on the bench but it made little difference initially as Gervinho latched onto Aaron Ramsey's chipped ball forward to blast in. Stoke grabbed an equaliser when Peter Crouch scored from close range after Jonathon Walters kept the ball alive. Enter Van Persie to put the Gunners back into the lead with a near post finish from Gervinho's run and cross and then he netted again from eight yards with a similar set up from Gervinho.

Attendance : 59,671
Assists : Ramsey, Walters, Gervinho, Gervinho

FULHAM 1 (Ruiz 68)
EVERTON 3 (Drenthe 3, Saha 90, Rodwell 93)

Everton left it late to win at Craven Cottage as Fulham struggle to find any sort of consistency this season. The visitors led early as Royston Drenthe unleashed a piledriver from 30 yards after Jack Rodwell had been tackled. Fulham equalised midway through the second half as Clint Dempsey found Bryan Ruiz who chipped a lovely goal from the left edge of the area. Bobby Zamora then missed a sitter for the hosts before Everton found some late goals as firstly Louis Saha latched onto a header from Drenthe to hold off his man and score off the post and then Rodwell wrapped it up with a stinging shot from the edge of the area after the home defence failed to clear a free kick.

Attendance : 25,646
Assists : Rodwell, Dempsey, Drenthe, Drenthe

MANCHESTER UNITED 1 (Fletcher 81)
MANCHESTER CITY 6 (Balotelli 22, Balotelli 60, Aguero 69, Dzeko 90, Silva 91, Dzeko 93)

Man City go five points clear of local rivals Man United after crushing their city neighbours with a six goal salvo at Old Trafford. City led at the interval when Mario Balotelli found the bottom corner from James Milner's cut back. In truth, there was little sign of the drama to follow at half time, but less than a minute into the second half United were down to ten men when Johnny Evans was sent off for hauling down Balotelli as he threaten to burst clear and then City took total command with two goals in nine minutes. Firstly Balotelli doubled his tally with a far post tap in, again from a Milner cross and then Sergio Aguero got onto the scoresheet with a similar finish from Micah Richards cross and City could, and should, have added more before United gave themselves hope when Darren Fletcher pulled one back with a fantastic curling effort after he played a one-two with Javier Hernandez and a remarkable comeback looked possible until the final stages when City hit overdrive and United hit meltdown. With a minute left, Edin Dzeko kneed the ball over the line from a yard after a corner found Joleon Lescott to cut the ball back and then David Silva made it five in stoppage time with a finish through the keepers legs having been sent clear by Dzeko. City still weren't finished as Dzeko missed a sitter as he blazed wide from eight yards but he added a sixth shortly afterwards having been sent clear by Silva. Astonishing result.

Attendance : 75,487
Red Card : Evans 47 (Manchester United)
Assists : Milner, Milner, Richards, Hernandez, Lescott, Dzeko, Silva

BLACKBURN 1 (Formica 28)
TOTTENHAM 2 (van der Vaart 15, van der Vaart 53)

Spurs continued their decent start with an away win at stuttering Blackburn. Rafael Van Vaart netted both goals, firstly when he rolled the ball home after excellent work from Kyle Walker. Rovers levelled when Christopher Samba's header fell nicely for Mauro Formica to thump into the roof of the net. Spurs won it early in the second half as Van Der Vaart curled in from 25 yards after Beniot Assou-Ekotto was blocked as he looked to burst into the area.

Attendance : 22,786
Assists : Walker, Samba, Ekotto

QPR 1 (Helguson 10 Pen)
CHELSEA 0

Chelsea had two players sent off in the first half as they slumped to defeat at local rivals QPR. Rangers won the game early from the penalty spot, converted by Heidar Helguson after he'd been bundled over by David Luiz. That only told part of the story though as firstly Jose Bosingwa was red carded for hauling down Shaun Wright-Phillips as he looked to go clear - cue the protests led by John Terry as always. Eight minutes later, they were down to nine as Didier Drogba lunged in two-footed on Adel Taarabt although at least this time there was no protests.

Attendance : 18,050
Red Cards : Bosingwa 33 (Chelsea), Drogba 41 (Chelsea)
Assist : Helguson (won pen)

WOLVES 2 (Doyle 84, O'Hara 86)
SWANSEA 2 (Graham 23, Allen 35)

Wolves scored two late goals to salvage a point at home to Swansea. The Welsh side had lost every away game this season but were looking good at the break as Mark Gower's chip into the area found Danny Graham who took advantage of a slip from a defender before taking a touch and sliding in from close range and they doubled the lead through Joe Allen's close range finish from Graham's low cross. Wolves battled back and pulled a goal back with six minutes to go when Kevin Doyle tapped in from four yards after Sam Voakes saw his shot saved and Swansea hardly had time to recover when Jamie O'Hara levelled matters when he thumped in Doyle's cross.

Attendance : 25,216
Assists : Gower, Graham, n/a, Doyle

ASTON VILLA 1 (Bent 23 Pen)
WEST BROM 2 (Olsson 45, Scharner 57)

West Brom came from behind to get the better of Aston Villa in a feisty second city derby at Villa Park. The hosts were lucky not to be down to ten men early on when Alan Hutton's lunge on Shane Long only saw a yellow card and worse followed for the Baggies when Steven Reid and keeper Ben Foster hesitated, allowed Gabriel Agbonlahor to nip in only for Foster to trip him. Darren Bent converted the spot kick. The turning point came when Chris Herd and Jonas Olssen clashed in the opposite area with Herd appearing to stamp on his opposite number. The linesman spotted it and Herd was sent off amid bemusement from the home team. Ironically Chris Brunt blazed the resulting spot kick miles wide. West Brom did level on half time as Brunt's corner was headed in by Olssen and they won it after the break when another Brunt corner wasn't cleared and Paul Scharner walloped the ball in.

Attendance : 34,152
Assists : n/a, Brunt, Brunt

BOLTON 0
SUNDERLAND 2 (Sessegnon 82, Bendtner 93)

Bolton are in freefall after slumping to defeat at home to Sunderland. The visitors deserved their win but left it late as firstly Stephane Sessegnon turned to fire in after Sebastien Larsson's corner wasn't cleared and then Nik Bendtner wrapped it up on the break with a low shot after being fed by Sessegnon.

Attendance : 24,349
Assists : Brown, Sessegnon

NEWCASTLE 1 (Cabaye 81)
WIGAN 0

Wigan's dismal run continues but they held unbeaten Newcastle until the latter stages. The only goal came with nine minutes to go when Sylvain Marveaux set up Cabaye who curled in a beauty with a first time effort from the edge of the area.

Attendance : 48,321
Assist : Marveaux

LIVERPOOL 1 (Bellamy 45)
NORWICH 1 (Holt 60)

Norwich collected a creditable point at Anfield as they came from behind to hold Liverpool. The hosts led on the stroke of half time as a long ball from Jose Enrique was headed for Luis Suarez who clashed with his marker, however the ball fell nicely for Craig Bellamy who side stepped a couple of defenders before slotting in. Norwich levelled on the hour when Anthony Pilkington's cross was headed in superbly by Grant Holt as keeper Jose Reina drifted off his line.

Attendance : 44,931
Assist : n/a, Pilkington
