No goals at Loftus Road but Rangers will see it as an opportunity lost at home to Newcastle. Despite starting with five new arrivals, QPR had the better chances notably when Shaun Wright-Phollips headed over and Jay Bothroyd did similar with a volley from a good position.

Norwich 0
West Brom 1 (Odemwingie 3)
MISSED PENALTY : Odemwingie (West Brom) 76 - Keeper Saved
West Brom collected their first points of the season after a narrow win at Norwich who still look for their opening victory of the campaign. The only goal came early as was gifted to Peter Odemwingie who was left to tap the ball past the keeper after a long ball from Nicky Shorey should have been dealt with by Ritchie De Laet but his header was neither
clearance or a nod bac to the keeper and left the Baggies striker with a simple chance. They should have doubled matters late on when Steven Reid went down a tad easily under a shove from Steve Morrison, however Odemwingie's penalty was well saved by keeper Declan Rudd.

Fulham 1 (Zamora 38)
Blackburn 1 (Rochina 32)
Honours even at Craven Cottage as Fulham came from behind to draw with Blackburn, leaving both clubs still without a win. The game took a while to spark into life but it did with a superb goal as Junior Hoillet found Ruben Rochina on the edge of the area and his arrowing, angled drive flew in via the underside of the bar to put Rovers ahead. It took Fulham
six minutes to grab a deserved equaliser as Danny Murphy found Bobby Zamora who evaded a challenge and curled a shot low into the corner. Fulham dominated the second half but keeper Paul Robinson kept the scores level with saves from Murphy and Clint Dempsey. In stoppage time, the game was delayed for eight minutes when Hoillet was stretchered off
after he was clattered by keeper Mark Schwarzer as he bravely chased a high through ball and from the free kick 20 yards out, Martin Olssen's shot almost broke nicely for David Goodwillie.

Arsenal 1 (Arshavin 40)
Swansea 0
Arsenal finally recorded a league win this season with a narrow home victory against Swansea who are struggling to make any impression on the Premier League at the moment. In fairness, the only goal was a freak effort as keeper Michel Vorm inadvertently threw the ball against the legs of his own player and as it rebounded off of Angel Rangel, it fell
nicely for Andrey Arshavin who slotted in from a tricky angle. Swansea had the chance to level late on but Danny Graham hooked over from close range as they still look for their opening league goal.

Everton 2 (Osman 19, Baines 69 Pen)
Aston Villa 2 (Petrov 63, Agbonlahor 83)
Cracking game at Goodison as Aston Villa twice came from behind to draw at Everton. The hosts led when Tim Cahill's square ball was slotted into the corner by Leon Osman. Villa levelled just after the hour as Stephen Warnock found Stilian Petrov who curled in a beauty from 30 yards, however just six minutes later, Phil Jagielka was bundled over by Fabien
Delph as Villa struggled to clear a corner as Leighton Baines restored the home side's lead. Villa grabbed a point late on as Gabriel Agbonlahor headed in Marc Albrighton's cross.

Manchester City 3 (Ageuro 13, 63, 69)
Wigan 0
MISSED PEN: Tevez (Man City) 19 - Keeper Saved
Sergio Aguero hit a hat trick and Man City remain 100% as they swept aside Wigan at the Etihad Stadium. City were irresistable in the first half yet only managed one goal as Aguero turned and shot low into the corner having been set up by David Silva. Six minutes later, the lead should have increased as Adrian Lopez clattered into Silva however
Carlos Tevez saw his penalty easily saved by Ali Al Habsi. After the break, Ageuro took command as he latched onto Samir Nasri's touch to slide in his second and he completed his treble with a similar finish after brilliant work from Silva.

Stoke 1 (Walters 21 Pen)
Liverpool 0
Stoke reach the dizzy heights of fourth after a controversial win over Liverpool. The only goal came from the penalty spot as Jonathon Walters was hauled down by Jamie Carragher and blasted the spot kick home. Liverpool felt they should have had a penalty when Rory Delap appeared to handle in the area and then late on, Luis Suarez missed a sitter,
dragging the ball wide of an open goal.

Sunderland 1 (Dong-Won 91)
Chelea 2 (Terry 18, Sturridge 51)
Chelea stay third and are still unbeaten after a goal in each half saw off Sunderland. They led when John Terry scored at the second attempt after Juan Mata's free kick had hit the post and the Chelsea captain had been found at the far post by Danny Sturridge. The lead was doubled in the second half with a cracker from Sturridge as he ran onto a long ball
from Raul Meireles and beat the keeper with the cheekiest of back heels as he looked to be going away from goal, the ball just having the pace to dribble over the line. Sunderland managed to grab a stoppage time consolation as Ji Dong-Won fired inside the near post after Niklas
Bendtner had helped the ball on.

Wolves 0
Tottenham 2 (Adebayor 67, Defoe 80)
Spurs got points on the boards with a fine win at Wolves. Debutant Emmanuel Adebayor opened the scoring midway through the second half as he latched onto Scott Parker's touch, rounded the keeper and slotted in. They clinched the points late on as Niko Krancjar crossed for Jermaine Defoe to take a touch and drill in.

Bolton 0
Manchester United 5 (Hernandez 5, Rooney 20, Rooney 25, Hernandez 58, Rooney 68)
Wayne Rooney scored his second hat trick in as many club games as Man United again went goal crazy as they walloped Bolton 5-0 at the Reebok.
Having hit eight in their last game, United took less than five minutes to get started in his one as Nani was found on the right and as he ran at his man, his whipped cross was turned in at the near post by Javier Hernandez. The lead was doubled in similar style as Phil Jones crossed from the right this time and Rooney was on hand to prod the ball in from
six yards out. Bolton did have chances inbetween as Ivan Klasnic forced a brilliant save from David De Gea and Chris Eagles had a shot cleared off the line. It proved important as Rooney wasted no time in doubling his own tally and grab United's third with a poachers finish after Jones bundled his way into the area and saw his shot saved. It was almost four
within a couple of minutes as Hernandez found the net again but was flagged, correctly, offside.
After the break, Klasnic again forced De Gea into a comfortable save from long range and the United keeper was also equal to a header from Kevin Davies as Bolton looked to salvage some second half pride. United continued to look in charge as Anderson's curling free kick was turned away by home keeper Jussi Jaaskelainen however it was no surprise to see
a fourth as Nani seemed to be tripped in the area but the ball fell to Michael Carrick and although his effort was blocked, Hernandez turned to drill into the net. On the hour, Nigel Reo-Coker walloped a shot against the bar but it was United who, unsurprisngly, added to the scoresheet as Nani's square ball was swept into the bottom corner from
the edge of the area by Rooney for back to back hat tricks, having netted three of the eight against Arsenal. Hernandez had a chance for his treble but, having been put through by Nani, his effort drifted across goal but wide of the far post.
