LEVERKUSEN 0
MANCHESTER UNITED 5 (Valencia 22, Spahic 30 og, Evans 65, Smalling 77, Nani 88)

Hyypia's naïve Leverkusen side were given a humiliating thrashing by United, showing just how far the gap is between Bayern & Dortmund and the rest of the Bundesliga. Kagawa, Giggs and Rooney combined on the counter to setup Valencia for the first. Spahic headed a Rooney free kick into his own net. Evans tapped in a rebound after Rooney had a shot saved. The luckless Rooney, who deserved a goal, was off target with a lob, Smalling turned the ball in at the back post. Giggs released Nani for the fifth with a superb first time pass.

REAL MADRID 4 (Bale 37 fk, Arbeloa 51, Di Maria 63, Isco 80)
GALATASARAY 1 (Bulut 30)

Galatasaray suck so hard they couldn't take advantage of a ref that cared little for Real Madrid's reputation, sending off Ramos for a last man foul and booking Arbeloa for diving. Bale opened the scoring with a free kick (Ronaldo was injured). Drogba made the equaliser with a super ball inside two defenders. Arbeloa beat a lazy offside trap to put Real in front then chipped a ball inside Chedjou for Di Maria to blast past Iscan. Isco tapped in the fourth after his initial effort was saved.

JUVENTUS 3 (Vidal 29 Pen, Vidal 60 Pen, Vidal 63)
COPENHAGEN 1 (Mellberg 56)

Juve's first penalty was for handball. Mellberg punished typically skittish set piece defending to equalise then undid all his not so hard work by fouling Llorente for the second penalty. Vidal headed in Pogba's cross to complete his hat-trick.

Juve are still awful in Europe. They need to avoid defeat in Turkey to go through.

Bruno beat Proto at his near post with a fierce first time shot. Rodrigo kept Benfica's hopes of a last 16 place alive within 90 seconds of coming off the bench.

Manolas tapped in the equaliser from a corner only for Cavani to score a late winner after Marquinhos split the Greek defence.

CKSA MOSCOW 1 (Honda 62 Pen)
BAYERN MUNICH 3 (Robben 17, Gotze 56, Muller 65 Pen)
