9 December 2003

MAN UNITED 2-0 STUTTGART
Van Nistelrooy 47
Giggs 58

All the pre match hype surrounded the return of professional ginger twat Paul Scholes and
he maintained his high standards in this competition by once again doing bugger all.
RVN followed up a sensational piece of trickery by Giggs on the left to head the Mancs in
front right on half time. Van Nistelrooy returned the favour with a through pass and Giggs, having
missed an open goal in the first half, calmly rolled the ball wide of Hildebrand.

Assists : Giggs, Van Nistelrooy

RANGERS 1-3 PANATHINAIKOS
Mols 28 Zutautas 32
								Basinas 62
								Konstantinou 80

Mols headed Rangers in front but the Greeks hit back immediately. Zutautas beat Klose
with an excellently placed low shot. An astonishing 40yd strike sent Pana into the lead
and Konstantinou, who I once thought had a great future, broke the offside trap to add a third
on the counter.

Assists : Ball, Munch, Sapanis, Epalle

26 November 2003

PANATHINAIKOS 0-1 MAN UNITED
								Forlan 85

A mistake by Nikopolidis allowed Forlan to score the winner.

Assist : Bellion

STUTTGART 1-0 RANGERS
Wenzel 47

Rangers struggled with a clever free kick routine and Wenzel punished Vanoli's sloppy clearance
to volley past Klos.

4 November 2003

MAN UNITED 3-0 RANGERS
Forlan 6
Van Nistelrooy 43, 60

Former Everton defender Michael Ball appeared to clear any danger when he headed Keane's cross
out wide but the ball was met by a sensational left foot volley from Forlan, right into the bottom
corner. The crossbar denied him a second goal but the ball hit Van Nistelrooy, bounced onto
the post and into the net. Van Nistelrooy scored his second from a Giggs free kick.

Assist : Giggs (fk)

PANATHINAIKOS 1-3 STUTTGART
Konstantinou 60 Fyssas 68 og
								Kuryani 75
								Hinkel 77

Panathinaikos' goal seemed to wake up the Bundesliga leaders. Minutes after Konstantinou's low
shot beat Hildebrand, Fyssas finished off a brilliant passing move, for the wrong side. Kuryani gave
Stuttgart into the lead with a well place shot from the edge of the box and found Hinkel with a
pass out wide, Hinkel beat two players before side footing into the net.

Assists : Papadopoulos, Hleb, Kuryani

22 October 2003

RANGERS 0-1 MAN UNITED
								P Neville 5

Phil Neville, yes Phil Neville, decided the 'Battle of Britain' with a very good goal after
5 minutes! Gary Neville launched a ball downfield but it was headed towards Arteta, Phil
charged in and passed to Van Nistelrooy, with Giggs making a run into the box Van Nistelrooy
must have thought "I'll pass to Phil instead because Giggs is shit" well he must have thought
that because that's exactly what happened. With his renowned footwork Phil evaded a
desperate lunge by Ricksen before calmly stroking the ball into the corner. Vanoli missed a
sitter, Howard produced a World Class finger-tip save to deny Averladze. Both teams saw headers
cleared off the line. Loverkrands was thwarted by a fantastic tackle by Forgetful Jones
(Rio Ferdinand). Ginger twat Scholes was booked for running into Klose then should have been
awarded a penalty when former Manc Berg cleared him with a clever foul. After Scholes sent him
crashing to his backside he chopped down ginger with his trailing leg. Frisk was the ref, of course
he wasn't going to give a penalty to the away side.

Assist : Van Nistelrooy

STUTTGART 2-0 PANATHINAIKOS
Szabics 13
Soldo 25

Szabics headed in Lahm's cross and Soldo also headed past Nikopolidis from Heldt's corner.

Assists : Lahm, Heldt (ck)

1 October 2003

PANATHINAIKOS 1-1 RANGERS
Konstantinidis 87 Emerson 35

Emerson was credited with the opener though it looked like Capucho got the last
touch. Substitute Goumas got a second yellow for pulling back Averladze.
Papadopoulos volleyed into the ground, the ball bounced towards Konstantinidis
leaving him with a simple header.

Can't wait for Rangers vs Man United!

Assist : Papadopoulos
Red Card : Goumas 56 (Panathinaikos)

STUTTGART 2-1 MAN UNITED
Szabics 50 Van Nistelrooy 67 (Pen)
Kuryani 52

Lahm beat Gary Neville to a long ball, Rio Ferdinand's slip allowed Szabics a run on goal
and he coolly placed the ball into the bottom corner. A fantastic first time pass by Szabics
sent away Kuryani, Howard flew off his line but Kuryani beat him with a delightful lob.
Van Nistelrooy converted a penalty won by performing seal Ronaldo. An equally theatrical
dive by Kuryani gave Stuttgart a chance to seal victory from the penalty spot but Meira was
denied by a stunning save.

Assists : Lahm, Szabics, Ronaldo (won pen)

16 September 2003

MAN UNITED 5-0 PANATHINAIKOS
Silvestre 13
Fortune 14
Solskjaer 33
Butt 40
Djemba Djemba 84

Silvestre bundled in a corner and Fortunate slammed in United's second a minute later.
Nikopolidis decided to do the hosts a favour, as if they needed any help, when he let
Solskjaer's shot squirm through his hands. Butt scored with a tremendous towering
header and Djemba Djemba helped himself to his first goal for the club when Giggs
completed a hat-trick of assists.

How RVN didn't score is a mystery. Pana should stick to making AV equipment.

Assists : Giggs (x2), O'Shea, Giggs

RANGERS 2-1 STUTTGART
Nerlinger 74 Kuryani 48
Loverkrands 79

Deep into first half injury time Stuttgart were awarded a free kick miles away
from goal. Bordon's deflected shot came back off a post and Kuryani stabbed into
a welcoming net. Stuttgart, who had yet to concede a goal in the Bundesliga,
defended like Real Madrid allowing Nerlinger to draw the Jocks level. Five
minutes Loverkrands hit a dramatic winner. He received the ball wide left, went
past two players and sent a 25yd drive crashing into the bottom corner, via a slight
deflection off Bordon.
