Ganz slid in to meet Maniero's cross/shot and give Venezia a shock lead.
Nanami swung a free kick to the back post, Valtolina pinged the ball into
the box and Maniero was  left unchallenged to head in Venezia's second and
complete Lazio's misery. Lazio still haven't recovered from defeat against
Roma, their confidence is shot and they are in danger of repeating the
mistakes of the past two seasons.

Georgatos smashed a shot into the bottom right corner of the net from
Seedorf's corner. Seedorf picked up the ball on the right wing, charged into
the box, destroyed a defender with a step over, drew out Mazzantini and
lifted the ball into the net. Great goal. Vieri headed in Inter's third from
Georgatos's cross, Jugovic cracked one in from the edge of the box and 
Hilario beat Zamorano to Di Biagio's cross but at the expense of beating
his own 'keeper. Cordoba started the match, Muta came on as sub. Nakata
was still at Perugia and claims he would prefer a move to Milan instead of
Roma.

At the start of the second half Del Piero and Zambrotta combined to gift
Inzaghi a tap in from close range. Frey made his now customary candidates
for save of the week - from a fierce Conte header in the first half and an
acrobatic stop from Zidane in the second.

Man do Fiorentina suck, neither team managed a shot on target. I might as
well take this opportunity to say Trap looks like an older 'version' of a cousin
of mine, he's the biggest crook bastard you'll never have the misfortune of
meeting.

Abbiati saved brilliantly with his legs from Buso. Leonardo and Shevchenko
went close. Albertini was sent off. Don't know why but he deserved it, if the
coach hasn't got the balls to drop him at least the ref can do something
about it. Why is it all the great players get injured while the ones that
suck don't? Bierhoff punished miserable defending from Leonardo's free kick
to score the only goal. Bierhoff became the 115th player this week to hit the
crossbar. Another phenomenal save from Abbiati denied old man Rizzitelli
what looked a certain goal. Jose Marie came on with 20 minutes remaining.

Pralja (cut & paste) crashed a shot off the crossbar Kallon headed in the
rebound. Calaio headed in from a corner. Giacchetta was sent off for
protesting after he had been hauled down in the box. Bucci made an absolutely
amazing save from Cozza's free kick. Kallon threw himself over Grandoni to win
a penalty which he converted.

No Totti for Roma (and no Nakata either) but it didn't matter. Mancini
spilled Alenichev's shot, Montella put away the rebound. Teen sensation
headed Bari level from a free kick. Cafu headed on a cross and Montella
hooked the ball over the advancing Mancini. Neqrouz was sent off for handling
in the box, Montella converted the spot kick.

Despite fielding Amoroso and Crespo in attack it was Di Vaio who got the
only goal, tapping in Fuser's cross. Jorgensen smashed a shot off the
underside of the crossbar, Parma survived a penalty appeal for handball by
Cannavaro.

Ingesson blazed over from Nervo's knockdown, Andersson stole a ball in the
box and flashed a shot across goal. Ze Elias won a free kick on the edge of
the box, Andersson banged in the free kick. Corradi wasted a great chance
to equalise when clean through on goal he smashed a shot off the underside of
the crossbar, O'Neill also crashed a shot off the crossbar. Typical of the
rotten luck endured by Cagliari this season who are still waiting for a win
after 15 games.
