CATANIA 2 (Spoli 52, Barrientos 64)
ATALANTA 1 (Moralez 49)

Andujar kicked a back pass against Moralez and he ran wide before lifting the ball into an empty net. Spoli headed in the equaliser from a corner and Gomez played in Barrientos on the overlap for the winner.

Attendance : 13,240
Assists : n/a, Gomez

CHIEVO 0
INTER 2 (Pereira 43, Cassano 74)

Pereira tapped in a deflected Nagatomo cross against the run of play - up to that point Inter had been awful. Cassano, who replaced the injured Sneijder (surprise, surprise) scored his 90th Serie A goal following great work by Gargano. The Uruguayan flicked up his pass with his right foot then volleyed it forward with his left and Cassano beat Milito to the ball to put the result beyond the hosts.

Attendance : 10,000
Assists : n/a, Gargano

GENOA 1 (Borriello 88 Pen)
PARMA 1 (Lucarelli 27)

Lucarelli volleyed Parma into the lead after the Genoa defence failed to clear a corner. Genoa got two bullshit penalties. The first for handball against Galloppa which was ridiculous, he was running away from goal as a Genoa defender kicked the ball against him from less than a yard away. Borriello won the second with a trademark dive and this time he went right and scored.

Attendance : 17,000
Assists : n/a, Borriello (won pen)

MILAN 2 (El Shaarawy 15, El Shaarawy 82)
CAGLIARI 0

El Shaarawy eased the pressure on Allegri amid rumours of a takeover from Italy's richest man - chocolate magnate Michele Ferrero. Montolivo played in El Shaarawy for the first, amid lazy appeals for offside. Pazzini's acting earned Conti a red card. El Shaarawy scored a near identical second from an Ambrosini pass.

De Sciglio, the best young fullback in the World, was deployed at left back. Whether he can cross as effectively cutting in remains to be seen.

Attendance : 28,005
Red Card : Conti 66 (Cagliari)
Assists : Montolivo, Ambrosini

NAPOLI 3 (Cavani 19, Cavani 31, Cavani 64)
LAZIO 0

Klose appeared to have given Lazio the lead when he headed in a corner but admitted to using his hand to the referee. Cavani scored soon after via a deflection from the edge of the box. A failed offside trap, Konko was the guilty party, sent Cavani clear for the second though Mirante should have saved a poorly placed shot. Cavani beat Lazio's offside trap for a second time before rounding Marchetti to complete his hat-trick. He should have had a fourth but blazed over a penalty. He's missed close to half of the penalties he's took recently. I wouldn't be surprised if Insigne took over penalty duties.

Attendance : 38,000
Assists : n/a, Cannavaro, Campagnaro

ROMA 1 (Totti 35)
SAMPDORIA 1 (Munari 62)

Destro should have given Roma the lead but a heavy touch allowed Romero? To close him down, the ball broke to Lamela, he laid it off to Florenzi and the youngster showed excellent awareness to pull the ball back to Totti at the far post and he drilled in his 216th Serie A goal - joining Meazza and Altafini in third place on the Serie A all time top scorers list. He's 9 behind 2nd placed Nordahl though hasn't a prayer of catching 290 goal Silvio Piola in 1st. Lamela dived to earn Maresca a second yellow at the start of the second half. Stekelenburg threw away three points when he fumbled a cross and Munari snared the rebound.

Attendance : 37,125
Red Card : Maresca 46 (Sampdoria)
Assists : Florenzi, n/a
