ROMA 1 (Totti 57 Pen)
LAZIO 1 (Hernanes 16)

Roma were all over Lazio but fell behind to a stunning Hernanes goal on a Lazio counter attack. Hernanes shifted the ball from his right foot onto his left then crashed a shot into the top left corner. Roma fell apart after going behind and should have been two goals down but Hernanes skied a penalty awarded for handball. Ironically he conceded one at the other end when tripping Pjanic and Totti held his nerve to claim a share of the derby spoils. Florenzi should have given Roma the lead but hammered a rebound straight at Marchetti. Biava was sent off for tripping Marquinho. Lamela headed over from a yard out.

Assists : Lulic, Pjanic (won pen)

FIORENTINA 2 (Ljajic 66 Pen, Pizarro 73 Pen)
MILAN 2 (Montolivo 14, Flamini 62)

Montolivo pressed Pizarro into a mistake and ran through to score against his former club. Anti Milan referee Tagliavento blew in their favour when he dismissed Tomovic for a nothing challenge. There was bad news on 62 minutes when the awful Flamini turned in Montolivo's centre - bad news because it means he'll play more games. Tagliavento made amends for his earlier out of character decision when he awarded Fiorentina two soft penalties then failed to blow at the other end for a foul on Abate and a handball.

Tagliavento was finally punished for another crooked performance. He was criticised by Lega Serie A President Maurizio Beretta and is said to be facing a one month suspension. He should never officiate another Milan match again.

SAMPDORIA 1 (Munari 43)
PALERMO 3 (von Bergen 35, Ilicic 50, Garcia 56)

Miccoli swung a high free kick into the Sampdoria box and von Bergen's sliced shot bamboozled Romero. Munari headed in the equaliser from Eder's corner. Ilicic turned onto a pass on the half way line, ran around one player, inside another, sold a third a dummy as he ran into the box, rode a tackle then shot across goal into the left corner. GOAL OF THE SEASON. Garcia made the points safe with a towering header.

UDINESE 3 (Di Natale 20, Di Natale 25, Benatia 85)
CHIEVO 1 (Papp 35)

Chievo goalkeeper had all the time in the World to control a back pass but as Di Natale bore down he decided to try a back heel, missed the ball then as he panicked his clearance went in off Di Natale. While Di Natale's first goal was a reward for persistence his second was pure brilliance. Pereyra hit a crossfield pass out from the right wing and Di Natale caught the ball with an over the shoulder volley into the right corner. Tremendous goal. Papp got Chievo back in the game, punishing some hopeless set piece defending but Benatia thumped in a volley at the back post after Di Natale hung up a cross.

INTER 3 (Rocchi 44, Alvarez 57, Alvarez 61)
ATALANTA 4 (Bonaventura 56, Denis 65 Pen, Denis 71, Denis 77)

Rocchi opened the scoring from a corner. Bonaventura recovered from a heavy first touch to equalise, Livaja, on loan from Inter, providing the cross. A mix-up in the Atalanta defence restored Inter's lead and Alvarez scored a brilliant second after cutting in from the left and beating two players before rifling a low shot inside a post. Atalanta were given a ridiculous penalty for a foul on Denis. What the ref blew his whistle for remains a mystery. A cross came in there wasn't any shirt pulling or flailing arms as Denis headed off target. With his back to goal Denis received a pass, wriggled away from two defenders and fired a low shot past Handanovic. He completed his hat-trick with a crisp first time strike from Bonaventura's centre. Schelotto's theatrics got former team-mate Raimondi sent off. In the last kick of the game Guarin's deflected cross fell to Ranocchia who was standing about a yard from an open goal and he blazed over. Incredible miss.

Gervasoni is also going to get the Tagliavento treatment i.e. a one month ban.

Red Card : Raimondi 90 (Atalanta)

NAPOLI 2 (Pandev 18, Dzemaili 29)

Pandev was in a position to shoot first time after being played in by Cavani but dribbled past two players before scoring. Dzemaili burst into the box onto Hamsik's pass and fired past Frey, who went down far too early.

JUVENTUS 2 (Vucinic 72 Pen, Vucinic 78)
PESCARA 1 (Cascione 83)

Rizzo was sent off for fouling Vidal in the box. Vucinic turned onto Asamoah's pass, ran away from a defender and steadied himself before whipping a shot past Pelizzoli. Cascione scored a late consolation goal with a stunning shot from 30 yards that left Buffon reeling.

Attendance : 41,000
Red Card : Rizzo 72 (Pescara)
Assists : Vidal (won pen), Asamoah, n/a

BOLOGNA 2 (Kone 65, Guarante 86)
TORINO 2 (Barreto 25, Bianchi 94)

Curci parried a Santana shot straight up into the air and Barreto headed in the rebound. Kone met Morleo's outstanding inswinging cross with a bullet header. It would have been a travesty had that cross not resulted in a goal. Substitute Guarante looked to have won the game when he hammered in a loose ball but defender D'Ambrosio made a storming run into the Bologna box and turned a defender inside out before firing a low centre across goal and Bianchi couldn't miss.

Attendance : 21,497
Assists : n/a, Morleo, Gabbiadini, D'Ambrosio

SAMPDORIA 0
INTER 2 (Palacio 43, Palacio 93)

Palacio gave Inter the lead with a superb flick header. Sampdoria had more shots but most were from distance and they failed to really trouble Handanovic. Palacio scored a fantastic second goal on the break. He slalomed his way in between two players as he cut in from the left then nutmegged Romero in the Sampdoria goal.
