ATALANTA 1 (Schelotto 9)
SIENA 2 (Larrondo 13 Pen, Destro 92)

Schelotto got in front of his marker to volley in Peluso's cross. Consigli should have been sent off for taking out Larrondo with a clumsy challenge. Destro scored a fantastic winner. A longball sent him between two defenders as he ran into the box he slowed down, beat a defender with a feint before accelerating away and from a tight angle opened up his body and knocked the ball into the bottom right corner.

Much like Acquafresca, Destro is another Inter youth team product who is having a great season at a provincial club. Let's hope, unlike Acquafresca, he can do this again next season.

Attendance : 15,500
Red Cards : Colantuono 92 (C Atalanta), Sannino 92 (C Siena)
Assists : Peluso, Larrondo (won pen), Rossi

CAGLIARI 2 (Astori 6, Pinilla 61)
INTER 2 (Milito 7, Cambiasso 64)

As Astori was being fouled on a corner he hooked a scissor kick over Castelazzi. Tremendous goal. Cagliari's dreadful offside trap gifted Inter the equaliser. Pinilla restored Cagliari's lead with an ugly header then ran over to his fans and lifted his shirt, earning a second yellow. You dipshit. As Cagliari were still dealing with shock of Pinilla's dismissal, Cambiasso took advantage to equalise.

Attendance : 19,000
Red Card : Pinilla 63 (Cagliari)
Assists : Cossu, Zarate, Conti, Forlan

CESENA 0
BOLOGNA 0

CHIEVO 3 (Bradley 6, Pellissier 20 Pen, Paloschi 51)
CATANIA 2 (Andreolli 32 og, Almiron 85)

Bradley scored his first Serie A goal from a Paloschi centre. Pellissier made the most of a stupid foul by Spolli to win the penalty and earn the defender a red card. Andreolli sliced a cross into his own net. Paloschi ran onto a great reverse pass and with a superb first touch, took the ball away from Carrizo before tapping into an empty net. Chievo wasted several chances to increase their lead and Almiron ensured a nervy finish from a deflected centre.

Attendance : 11,000
Red Card : Spolli 19 (Catania)
Assists : Paloschi, n/a, Pellissier (won pen), Pellissier, n/a

LECCE 4 (Muriel 22, Di Michele 45, Muriel 49, Di Michele 56 Pen)
ROMA 2 (Bojan 80, Lamela 90)

Football's next superstar beat Roma's offside trap, with his touch took the ball away from Stekelenburg, skipped over his suicidal tackle then tapped into an empty net. Roma failed to clear their lines from a corner, Giacomazzi hung a cross up to the back post and Di Michele jumped to blast in a mid-air volley. Fantastic goal. Muriel dribbled in between Rossi and another Roma player as he ran in from the right touchline 50 yards from goal then suddenly let fly with a fiercely struck low drive that flew into the bottom left corner. He is AWESOME. Heinze tripped Muriel to concede the penalty. Lecce stopped playing and Roma scored two late consolation goals. Bojan volleyed in a Lamela cross and the Argentinean curled in a brilliant free kick.

Muriel has confirmed he's had offers from both Milan clubs. Milan must break the bank to get him. His technique, his pace, his body strength, his shooting are all off the charts.

Attendance : 12,600
Assists : Giacomazzi, Giacomazzi, Cuadrado, Muriel (won pen), Lamela, Marquinho (won fk)

MILAN 1 (Ibrahimovic 31 Pen)
FIORENINA 2 (Jovetic 47, Amauri 89)

In the run up to this match Fiorentina pleaded for the officials not to compensate for the ball over the line at Catania but that's exactly what happened when Maxi Lopez went down under minimal contact to win a penalty. An inswinging cross caught the Milan defence flat footed leaving Jovetic unmarked in front of goal, 1-1. Cassano made his long awaited return and had more legitimate claims for a penalty than Maxi Lopez did. Mexes fell when trying to head clear a longball, Amauri played a one-two with Jovetic and tapped the ball past Abbiati to score his first goal in a year?!!?! That doesn't sound right.

A catastrophic result. Milan need to do more to win games than scoring penalties. Of course injuries mean Allegri has not been able to field the same side for consecutive games. The injuries themselves? Not a coincidence, Milan appointed a new head doctor at the start of the season. If Milan blow the scudetto it will be on his head.

Attendance : 58,646
Assists : Maxi Lopez (won pen), De Silvestre, Jovetic

NOVARA 1 (Mascara 68)
GENOA 1 (Rossi 7)

Palacio shot at a deflected cross and the ball went in off team-mate Rossi. Genoa were absolutely awful and at no point looked like adding a second. Frey punched out a cross, Mascara pounced as a defender kicked fresh air and caught the ball on the half volley, sending a shot ripping into the bottom right corner.

Attendance : 10,066
Red Card : Caracciolo 87 (Novara)
Assists : Palacio, n/a

UDINESE 3 (Asamoah 46, Di Natale 56, Asamoah 92)
PARMA 1 (Lucarelli 84)

Asamoah arrived late to whack home an inadvertent cross. With an incredible first touch Di Natale plucked a cross out of the air, flicked it past a defender and from a tight angle hammered a shot across goal into the opposite corner. Lucarelli fired through a ruck of bodies after Udinese failed to clear a corner. A slip allowed Asamoah to launch a counter attack, he saw his shot saved and Asamoah scored a carbon copy of his first to put paid to any hopes of a comeback.

Attendance : 13,000
Assists : Di Natale, Armero, n/a, n/a

PALERMO 0
JUVENTUS 2 (Bonucci 56, Quagliarella 69)

Juventus tore the Palermo defence apart, playing some brilliant football in the process but took the lead in more rudimentary fashion when Bonucci crashed a header in off the post from a Pirlo corner. Quagliarella, right of centre, passed a ball into Matri who had his back to play on the edge of the D, Matri held the ball, waited for Quagliarella to arrive, flicked across a pass and Quagliarella gently stroked the ball around Viviano and into the bottom left corner. Beautiful goal.

Juventus have made light of their supposedly tough schedule and are now starting to convert a higher number of chances. The momentum is clearly with them and the scudetto is of course theirs if they win all their reaming games. If they play to form they'll beat Lazio and Roma and slip up against one of the lesser sides.

Attendance : 28,941
Assists : Pirlo (ck), Matri

LAZIO 3 (Candreva 9, Mauri 68, Ledesma 81 Pen)
NAPOLI 1 (Pandev 34)

This was a proverbial six pointer in the race for the last Champions League place. The normally dependable De Sanctis was beaten at his near post with a shot that went straight through his legs. Lavezzi played a back heal as he ran away from goal and Pandev shot past a confused Lazio defence to score against his former club. Pandev should have made it 1-2 but wasted a phenomenal Lavezzi assist but miss-kicking from six yards out. Radu sent a cross to the box post, Mauri leapt into the air and connected with a textbox left foot scissor kick. Incredible goal. Van Basten would be proud. Inler played a hospital pass into his own box, Britos fouled Rocchi and Ledesma finished off Napoli from the penalty spot.

Napoli have ran out of steam.

Attendance : 35,000
Assists : Rocchi, Lavezzi, Radu, Rocchi (won pen)
