ATALANTA 1 (Manfredini 5)
PARMA 1 (Paletta 55)

Paletta made a hash of what should have been a routine clearance and Manfredini exacted punishment with an overhead kick. Paletta headed in the equaliser from a Valdes cross.

Attendance : 14,000
Assists : n/a, Valdes

CATANIA 1 (Lodi 58 Pen)
FIORENTINA 0

Attendance : 20,000
Assist : Bergessio (won pen)

CESENA 0
SIENA 2 (Brienza 75, Bogdani 81)

Brienza scrambled in the first after a Bogdani penalty rebounded off a post. Both players combined for the second, Bogdani headed down a longball, Brienza chipped a first time cross into the box and Bogdani volleyed over Antonioli.

This was Siena's third successive win. Sannino is doing a fantastic job in his maiden Serie A season playing 4-4-2! Another coach to keep an eye on.

Attendance : 15,360
Red Card : Ceccarelli 73 (Cesena)
Assists : n/a, Brienza

GENOA 0
JUVENTUS 0

Juve had 24 shots on goal, 10 of which were on target and hit the woodwork three times. Despite that Genoa were also threatened, when they had the ball and with a different ref may have even been awarded a late penalty for an extremely risky sliding tackle by Pirlo on Rossi. Had a penalty been awarded Conte, who was serving a suspension, would have probably tore his hair out and threw it on the pitch.

Attendance : 28,000

MILAN 2 (Nocerino 7, Ibrahimovic 65)
LECCE 0

Ibrahimovic jumped in the air to hook back a Robinho cross and Nocerino's half volley went in off Miglionico. It was his 9th goal of the season though two shouldn't count as they were deflections. Ibrahimovic, standing 20 yards from the left touchline, passed to Robinho who swung in a fantastic cross with the outside of his right foot to Emanuelson, Emanuelson headed the ball down, Ibrahimovic took a couple of steps forward and from the edge of the D smashed a half volley inside the right post. Brilliant team goal.

Attendance : 54,329
Assists : n/a, Emanuelson

LAZIO 1 (Rubin 56 og)
BOLOGNA 3 (Portanova 11, Diamanti 28, Krhin 60)

Raggi headed on a corner, Marchetti saved point blank from Acquafresca and Portanova tapped in the rebound. Marchetti was forced into action when a longball forward sent Acquafresca clear of their offside trap, he ran out of his box and headed straight to Diamanti and from 25 yards he sent a first time shot past him and into an empty net. Matuzalem was sent off for shoving Diamanti in the face. Rubin played a backpass to Gillet but wasn't looking at his position, he was miles off his line and couldn't get back in time, 1-2. Gonzalez was sent off for a supposed last man foul on Ramirez - he barely touched him. Diamanti smashed the resulting free kick into the Lazio wall and Inter owned Krhin fired in the rebound to score his first ever Serie A goal.

What an cock-up by Lazio. A win here would have put them within two points of Juventus. Napoli are looming ominously.

Attendance : 20,000
Red Cards : Matuzalem 42 (Lazio), Gonzalez 58 (Lazio)

CHIEVO 0
INTER 2 (Samuel 87, Milito 89)

Inter have complained a lot in recent years over a lack of penalty awards. Today they got one and Milito saw his effort brilliantly saved by Sorrentino , who is having a great season. Samuel headed in a Sneijder corner and Milito arrived at the back post to head in a Zanetti cross and end Inter's 8 match winless streak. Ranieri was almost in tears at the final whistle. Yes he means well and is a nice guy but that doesn't change the fact he's not the man for this job. Nevertheless this is a welcome boost ahead of their Champions League tie against shitty Marseille.

Attendance : 11,000
Red Card : Di Carlo 85 (coach Chievo)
Assists : Sneijder, Zanetti

NAPOLI 6 (Hamsik 10, Cannavaro 19, Astori 30 og, Lavezzi 56 Pen, Gargano 70, Maggio 84)
CAGLIARI 3 (Larrivey 37, Larrivey 77, Larrivey 92)

Hamsik beat a poorly positioned Agazzi with a grasscutter from 20 yards. Cannavaro headed in the second 10 minutes later from a Lavezzi free kick. Astori turned in a Lavezzi centre. Larrivey headed in a Contini free kick though Napoli's defence barely made an effort to defend it. Canini tripped Lavezzi to concede the penalty. Cagliari would have been ecstatic to have seen the back of Lavezzi had his replacement not been Cavani. He held up a ball until Gargano arrived, the tough tackling midfielder flicked the ball past a defender with his right foot before half volleying into the bottom corner with his left. Great strike. Ibarbo dribbled his way past two players before hanging up a cross for Larrivey's second. Pandev played in Maggio on the overlap with a fantastic reverse pass between two defenders and Maggio screwed the ball into the left corner. Ibarbo teased Cannavaro before laying on Larrivey's hat-trick goal - his second for Cagliari. He's also only one of two Cagliari players to score a hat-trick, no prizes for guessing Gigi Riva was the first.

Cagliari coach Ballardini was, not surprisingly, sacked after this defeat. Ibarbo is a phenomenal prospect. I think he'll be at Cagliari for another season but if he repeats what he's done in a year from now he'll be on his way to superstardom.

Attendance : 30,000
Assists : Inler, Lavezzi (fk), n/a, Conti, Lavezzi (won pen), Cavani, Ibarbo, Pandev, Ibarbo

PARMA 2 (Okaka 28, Giovinco 87 Pen)
FIORENTINA 2 (Nastasic 61, Cerci 71)

Okaka wasted a brilliant Giovinco pass by shooting straight at Boruc but put away the rebound. Nastasic scored for the second time in 3 days, heading in the equaliser from a Vargas free kick. Cerci got a touch to a centre in a crowded penalty area and from an acute angle the ball rolled past Boruc. Apparently the penalty was for shirt tugging.

Attendance : 13,000
Assists : n/a, Vargas, Pasqual, Giovinco (won pen)

BOLOGNA 1 (Di Vaio 17)
JUVENTUS 1 (Vucinic 59)

Ramirez split the Juventus defence with a great ball between two centrebacks, as Buffon came off his line Di Vaio he flicked the ball past him and it trickled in off a post. Juve's equaliser was similar, Vucinic shooting Pirlo's pass high over Gillet. A surprisingly good finish given the season he's had. Juve made two point blank misses, Marchisio's in particular has to be seen to be believed, and were jobbed out of a penalty when De Ceglie was pulled down in the box. Conte hit the roof and was sent off. You reap what you sow. Shouldn't have bitched and moaned in the run-up to the Milan game. Bonucci was sent off for chopping down Ramirez on a counter attack.

Attendance : 19,000
Red Card : Conte 82? (Juventus - coach), Bonucci 84 (Juventus)
Assists : Ramirez, Pirlo
