Despite being without Boateng and Nocerino, both suspended, Milan made short work of an Udinese side that recently beat Napoli. Ibrahimovic began the rout by converting a soft penalty. Standing on the half-way line with his back to goal he pulled down a longball with his right then swung a wonderful left foot cross on the turn to release Robinho left of center, he touched the ball inside a defender, sending him crashing on his backside, then whipped the ball inside the right post. Great goal. He forced the third from another brilliant Ibrahimovic pass and Zambrotta hammered in a loose ball after Aquilani forced a save.

Floro Flores' shot into a Siena defender and Basta shot the rebound over the alert ? as he dived at the midfielder feet. While there was a degree of fortune over the first goal the second was the culmination of individual brilliance. Armero hit a ball out of his half upto Di Natale 35 yards from goal, he feigned to shoot with his left foot, taking the ball inside a defender and advanced two more steps before rifling a low left foot shot inside the right post. Brienza swung a cross upto Calaio and Bolzoni ran onto his knock down to blast a left foot volley into the roof of the net. A stunning goal and the 22 year old midfielders first in Serie A.

Ilicic fired a low shot at Gillet, he failed to hold and he should have, Zahavi tapped in the rebound. Silvestre met Zahavi's inswinging corner with a bullet header. Varela hit a great pass between Cherubin and Loria, who both had the jump on Ilicic but he beat them for pace, held off Loria then shot into the corner as Gillet came off his line. Ramirez played a one-two with Jimenez, who returned his pass with a back heal, then from the edge of the D crashed a first time shot into the bottom right corner.
Ramirez was valued at something like an insane €15 million having scored 4 goals in 15 games last season however he's already scored 3 in just 6 this term so €15 million may in fact seem under priced nonetheless he would be absolutely perfect for Inter. Time to cash in on Sneijder.

Gago tackled Porcari as he tried to spring a counter from the edge of the Novara penalty area, Gago passed to Pjanic who clipped a fantastic ball across the Novara defence to Bojan and he steered a volley inside the right post. Osvaldo headed in Roma's second from a corner then reverted to type and missed a sitter at the back post.
Bojan has already learnt to speak Italian. Credit to him and Luis Enrique for both making the effort unlike say that ugly little troll Carlos Tevez.
