CESENA 1 (Parolo 47)
NAPOLI 4 (Lavezzi 72, Hamsik 81 Pen, Cavani 88, Cavani 92)

Cribari tried to shepherd a ball out of play, Schelotto tackled him on the by-line and centred for Parolo to tap-in. Cavani chased down an overhit pass, slipped a ball between two defenders to Dossena and Lavezzi, who started the attack, slid in the defender's center. Zuniga, who is dirty cheating little bastard, dived to win the penalty. Minutes later he took a free kick in the face, fell to the ground and waited for a stretcher before recovering. Fortunately his team-mates weren't interested in wasting time and turned the screw. Gargano spun onto a pass out of defence and released Cavani down the right channel, Cavani stepped inside two defenders before shooting low into the left corner. Lavezzi missed from six yards before Cavani put the icing on the cake. De Sanctis threw the ball at Lavezzi to start a counter attack, Lavezzi carried the ball from his own half to the edge of the Cesena penalty area, passed out wide to Cavani, who this time has taken a position out on the left, and he curled a magnificent first time shot inside the top right corner. Similar to the second goal Uruguay team-mate Luis Suarez scored against South Korea at the World Cup.

Cesena's catenaccio doesn't work when they're trailing.

Attendance : 16,250
Red Card : Mazzarri 48 (Napoli)

BARI 2 (Rivas 16, Barreto 55 Pen)
BRESCIA 1 (Kone 30)

Almiron played a one-two with Kutuzov, passed to Rivas on the right of the D as the Brescia defence appealed for offside against his team-mate Barreto the Argentinean stroked the ball into the bottom left corner. Kone, who despite his surname is actually Greek and not African as you might expect, scored a fine individual goal to equalise. Vidal nailed Barreto with a crude foul from behind and he picked himself up to convert the spot kick.

Attendance : 16,000
Assist : Almiron, Possanzini, Barreto (won pen)

CATANIA 1 (Britos 65 og)
BOLOGNA 1 (Di Vaio 40)

Siligardi won a penalty with a complete dive. Andujar made a fantastic save with his trailing hand to deny Di Vaio but was helpless on the rebound. Britos scored one of the greatest own goals of all time. Marchese swung a high cross in from the left, Britos leapt in the air, in a scissor kick position though facing right and with his right foot sliced the ball past his 'keeper. If a striker attempted that I doubt he'd pull it off.

Attendance : 10,913

FIORENTINA 2 (Ljajic 61 Pen, De Silvestri 77)

Lucarelli pulled back Gilardino to concede the penalty. De Silvestri's speculative shot took a wicked deflection en route to dropping under Mirante's crossbar.

PALERMO 2 (Pinilla 52, Maccarone 93)
LECCE 2 (Giacomazzi 8, Corvia 46)

Piatti headed down a cross and Giacomazzi smacked a half volley in off the left post. Immediately after the restart Corvia met Olivera's cross with a perfectly placed flick header to put the visitors two goals up. Pinilla scored his first Serie A goal on the rebound after Rosati had denied Ilicic. Giacomazzi was sent off for a second bookable offence and deep into injury time Palermo completed the comeback with another goal on a rebound, this time Pastore forced a save and Maccarone eased the ball under Sirigu.

Attendance : 22,378

JUVENTUS 4 (Krasic 13, Krasic 34, Bonucci 56, Krasic 70)
CAGLIARI 2 (Matri 20, Matri 81)

Krasic bounced a half volley past Agazzi after the Cagliari defence failed to clear a Pepe free kick. Cagliari were level within minutes. Lazzari crossed from the left and Matri, carelessly unmarked, leapt in the air to volley past Storari from six yards. Pepe swung in a high cross from the left and Krasic snuck up behind Agostini to put Juve back in front. Bonucci was one of three players who could have possibly scored the fourth goal following a goalmouth scramble from a corner. Iaquinta appeared to claim it and another source has it down as a Nainggolan own goal. Krasic 'completed' his hat-trick after the visitors once again failed to deal with a set piece. Krasic intercepted Biondini as he tried to spring a counter attack from a Juve corner, ran into the box and his shot deflected in off Astori. Lazzari rode a tackle before playing a ball inside a Juve defender with a sensational toe poke pass and Matri darted across the six yard box to score his third goal of the season.

It's only a matter of time before Matri wins an Italy cap. In Krasic Juve have the franchise player that can be lead them back to the top of Serie A. The rest of the team however needs a lot of work, especially at full back.

MILAN 1 (Ibrahimovic 49)
GENOA 0

Attendance : 50,000

ROMA 1 (Vucinic 92)
INTER 0

For the second time in a week Roma should have been awarded an early penalty. Borriello was shaping to head a rebound but wisely turned his back to the ball as Lucio planted a ridiculously high boot into his shoulder blade. Morganti, who is a weak ref, gave nothing. De Rossi deflected a Stankovic volley against the crossbar. Totti made way for Vucinic on 75 minutes. Given he is the symbol of the club he should be ashamed with his performance. He played for his own amusement, tried tricks in the penalty area, ignored team-mates, gave the ball away carelessly - like Ibrahimovic without the goals. De Rossi's cross seemed to take a deflection off Cordoba and Vucinic bravely threw himself at the ball (eating a boot to the face from Lucio) to connect with a low diving header beyond Julio Cesar.

An appalling game. Roma's display can be excused given their start. Inter showed no ambition and were playing for a point. No surprise with that bastard Benitez in charge. That's 2 defeats in his first 7 games, a very encouraging start to what will hopefully be a short-lived reign as Inter coach and subsequently the end of his miserable career, as a coach of a major team at least.
