BARI 0
INTER 3 (Kharja 70, Pazzini 94, Sneijder 96)

Once again Inter rode their luck. Chivu should have been sent on just before the hour mark when he punched Bari's Marco Rossi in the face, drawing cries of "Mamma Mia!" from both commentators, as the home side were defending a free kick. Rossi was bloodied up and had swelling around his right eye. Chivu has since been banned for four games. Kharja scored his first Inter goal in only his second appearance, after playing a one-two with Eto'o inside the box before poking past Gillet. In the fourth minute of injury time Sneijder tackled Almiron in the centre circle and Motta knocked the ball forward to Pazzini who dribbled past a defender before firing a low shot at goal which Gillet should have saved. Inter appealed to be playing out time before Zanetti made one of his rare forward runs and sent a cross towards the far post, Kharja bounced the ball off his chest and Sneijder volleyed into the corner.

CESENA 1 (Jimenez 31)
CATANIA 1 (Lopez 8)

Maxi Lopez finished off a lovely passing move with an awful shot that Antonioli failed to hold. Jimenez resisted his usual urge to go down in the box as a defender was snapping at his heals, played a one-two with Bogdani before angling a toe poke past Andujar. Nice goal.

Attendance : 13,552

CHIEVO 2 (Moscardelli 20, Sardo 50)
NAPOLI 0

Chievo made an excellent start and had two chances before taking the lead on a counter attack. Pellissier spun away from his marker on the centre circle before dropping a crossfield pass on a dime out to Moscardelli, he checked inside Cannavaro, brought the ball onto his left foot and curled a brilliant shot in off the left post. Moscardelli kicked fresh air with the goal gaping after De Sanctis came off his line and failed to clear a longball and similarly Cavani scuffed his shot as Sorrentino was stranded off his line, he slipped when trying to change direction after a defender sold his short with a square pass across the box. Sardo intercepted a poor goalkick, ran through the Napoli defence and flicked the ball past De Sanctis. Cavani was having an off day, he missed a free header at the back post but Chievo could have easily scored four, with Pellissier blazing wide and Moscardelli shanking a shot after Constant teed him up on a counter.

PALERMO 2 (Miccoli 7, Migliaccio 20)
JUVENTUS 1 (Marchisio 36)

Pastore ran from midfield before swinging a cross out wide to Miccoli, he took a touch before nutmegging former team-mate Buffon. Miccoli played a corner short to Cassani and Migliaccio leapt above his marker to head in the defenders FANTASTIC first time cross. Juve were robbed of a penalty for a blatant handball shortly before Marchisio got Juve back in the match after a Sirigu blunder. Matri missed two great chances to equalise. Miccoli should have put the game to bed but shot high over the bar with the net gaping. Hopefully Matri can find his shooting boot in time for Inter next Sunday.

ROMA 1 (Borriello 58)
BRESCIA 1 (Eder 69)

Vucinic was being hounded by Brescia defenders as he struggled to control a ball into the box, it broke free and Borriello thumped it into the net. Totti crashed a shot against the crossbar before out of nowhere Brescia equalised. Riise was caught ball watching as a cross dropped over his shoulder and midget Eder sent a header looping over Julio Sergio. It was actually a great header. Lanzafame almost snatched a winner on the break, he beat Julio Sergio all ends up but his shot rebounded off the crossbar.

UDINESE 1 (Domizzi 77)
BOLOGNA 1 (Di Vaio 64)

Di Natale, normally uber clinical in front of goal, blew a one vs one against Viviano. In the second half his free kick bounce off the inside of the crossbar as Udinese continued to dominate. Di Vaio stunned the home side with a grass cutter from the edge of the box. Di Natale chipped a free kick over to the back post and Domizzi broke from the wall to equalise. Guess I was wrong on Udinese not missing Sanchez. A win would have put them right in the thick of the battle for a Champions League place.
