INTER 5 (Lucarelli 18 og, Gobbi 19 og, Cambiasso 24, Motta 72, Stankovic 75)
PARMA 2 (Crespo 4, Crespo 36)

Castelazzi dived at Crespo's feet as he challenged the striker for a cross - and missed, 0-1. Stankovic's speculative shot took a massive deflection off Lucarelli, no way that's not an og and within a minute he did it again when Gobbi's right foot, wrong footed Mirante. Biabiany inadvertently flicked on a corner and Cambiasso stabbed the ball in at the back post. A mistake by Materazzi allowed another fading star to score his second. Parma had the better of the second half and should have equalised, Crespo and Angelo guilty of bad misses and ultimately they paid the price. Motta scrambled in Inter's fourth, Crespo saw a header bounce off the woodwork and seconds later Stankovic ran onto a Sneijder pass to complete his 'hat-trick'.

Inter are away to Lazio at the weekend. Huge game for both clubs.

CAGLIARI 3 (Matri 6, Matri 15, Canini 28)
LECCE 2 (Olivera 54, Di Michele 81)

Cagliari had already hit the woodwork through Nene before Matri hosed two defenders with a great dummy as he cut in from the left and shot low into the corner. Ten minutes later he swept Biondini's centre first time past Agazzi. Canini headed in the third from Cossu's corner then picked up the corner flag and mocked using it as a missile launcher. Great celebration though if he had a beard and brown skin, it wouldn't have went down too well. Olivera almost scored a great solo goal, as he went to beat one last defender the ball took a deflection and he almost fell but kept his balance to poke the ball past Agazzi. Another lucky deflection got Lecce back to within a goal but they failed to trouble Cagliari further. Good start for Donadoni.

LAZIO 1 (Hernanes 47)
CATANIA 1 (Silvestre 44)

Silvestre gave Catania the lead with his teams second attack, he got great hang time on a vertical leap to head in Llama's corner. Lazio levelled in first half injury time when Hernanes beat Andujar with a low drive from 20 yards.

It reflects badly on Serie A that Lazio haven't got any sponsors.

Attendance : 22,000
Assists : Llama (ck), Brocchi

UDINESE 3 (Di Natale 16 Pen, Di Natale 45, Di Natale 57)
NAPOLI 1 (Hamsik 58)

De Sanctis came off his line and floored Sanchez, who was heading wide, to concede a penalty. At the end of the first half ? gave a ball to Di Natale 30 yards from goal, he quickly looked up then swung the ball into the top left corner. Brilliant goal. He completed his hat-trick direct from a corner, helped greatly by Hamsik who jumped out of the way. Hamsik took out his frustrations by hammering in a shot from 25 yards. Despite the goal it proved to be a miserable day for Hamsik. Cavani was brutally chopped down in the box and Handanovic flew across his box to deny Hamsik from the penalty spot.

Attendance : 14,000
Assists : Sanchez (won pen), Asamoah, n/a, Pazienza

PALERMO 3 (Miccoli 20, Ilicic 61, Nocerino 65)
ROMA 1 (Totti 92)

Roma started brightly and were twice thwarted by Sirigu. Nocerino played in the overlapping Ilicic with a reverse pass, Ilicic pulled the ball back to Miccoli, he took it onto his left foot and fired into the bottom corner. Balzaretti made one of his trademark runs down the left flank and pulled back a centre for Ilicic, master of the long range short, to score from six yards. Palermo counter from a Roma corner, Pastore played in Bovo on the overlap with a disguised pass and Nocerino tapped in his centre. Totti scored his first goal from open play since May deep into injury time when he fired a shot in from the right, Sirigu should have saved.

Attendance : 30,000
Assists : Ilicic, Balzaretti, Bovo, Cicinho

SAMDPORIA 1 (Pazzini 59)
MILAN 1 (Robinho 43)

Robinho spread a ball out wide to Ibrahimovic, he rode a tackle before sending a cross back to the Brazilian, via a deflection, and he converted with a left foot half volley which Curci should have saved. Gastaldello headed a corner against Nesta and Pazzini flashed a volley, his trademark, past Abbiati.

JUVENTUS 1 (Pepe 82)
FIORENTINA 1 (Motta 4 og)

Vargas fired in a cross/shot from the left and Motta headed it past Storari. Juve created millions of chances which they kept putting wide. When the finally got them on target Boruc was proving hard to beat, making brilliant saves from Iaquinta and Chiellini. The much maligned Pepe TM curled in a fantastic free kick from the left of the box, up and over the wall into the top right corner. Felipe was shown a second yellow for going through the back of Krasic.
