BOLOGNA 1 (Di Vaio 15)
CATANIA 1 (Lopez 51)

Both teams were safe so there was nothing at stake but the match did bring together two of Serie A's finest strikers. Di Vaio caressed Busce's through ball into the corner to score his 12th goal of the season. Lopez's equaliser, his 10th of the season, was a carbon copy.

Appiah made his FIRST appearance of the season when he came on as a second half substitute for Zalayeta.

Attendance : 22,270
Assists : Busce, Biagianti

FIORENTINA 1 (Marchionni 15)
SIENA 1 (Vergassola 3)

Vergassola scored from close range after Calaio flicked on a Maccarone cross. Marchionni tapped in a deflected centre. There were plenty of chances but no further goals in this low key Tuscan derby which marked the return of madman Malesani to his former club.

Attendance : 29,378
Assists : Calaio, n/a

GENOA 1 (Sculli 57)
MILAN 0

Attendance : 0,000

INTER 4 (Mantovani 13 og, Cambiasso 34, Milito 39, Balotelli 51)
CHIEVO 3 (Motta 11 og, Granoche 60, Pellissier 75)

The teams traded own goals. Four Inter players broke to support a Maicon raid, the Brazilian hung a cross over to the back post, Cambiasso leapt in the air and send a volley bouncing into the bottom left corner. Milito gave Inter the lead with an exquisite lob over Sorrentino. Maicon made the fourth and this time didn't even need to get out of his own half, he bypassed the Chievo midfield and defence with a glorious 60 yard pass and Balotelli punished Sorrentino for straying off his line for a second time with another lob. Granoche flicked Marcolini's speculative shot past Julio Cesar. Balotelli was substituted to a standing ovation. Pellissier pounced on a Zanetti hospital pass to reduced Chievo's deficit as Inter were momentarily distracted by the news of Cagliari taking the lead at Roma. Inter stepped up a gear and should have buried Chievo.

Attendance : 73,000

JUVENTUS 2 (Del Piero 16, Iaquinta 93)
PARMA 3 (Chiellini 20 og, Lanzafame 40, Biabiany 85)

Melo and Iaquinta combined to tee up Del Piero for the opening goal. Guess which club Lanzafame is on loan to Parma from? Yep. Juventus. He was credited with the equaliser but when a speculative shot takes a deflection off a player which in turn wrong foots the goalkeeper that's the very definition of an og, own goal not original gangsta - you can find those in Palermo. The Juventus supporters tried to set fire to the stands and started throwing stuff at the Parma supporters. The game was held up while Del Piero acted as peace maker and brought the situation under control. Maybe he should travel to London to mediate between the three party leaders and put a new government in power. Buffon saved at the feet of former team-mate Crespo but Lanzafame got hold of the rebound and blasted it into an empty net. Parma launched a counter attack from their own penalty area, Biabiany almost screwed up when alone against Buffon but eventually recovered from a dreadful first touch to score Parma's third. Iaquinta beat Parma's offside trap but it was too late to prevent another humiliating defeat for Juventus - their 14th of the season.

Juve suck so much even I don't find it funny anymore. It's almost tedious. I suppose we should enjoy it while it lasts.

LIVORNO 1 (Lucarelli 33)
LAZIO 2 (Rocchi 13, Brocchi 44)

Lazio captain Rocchi, dropped for last week's clash against Inter after vowing his side would not lay down and die, was back in the starting line-up and tapped his team into an early lead. Lucarelli poked in Raimondi's cross to equalise. Brocchi was the unlikely match winner. He caught the ball on the bounce with a punching volley after Livorno failed to clear. His first goal in THREE YEARS.

Attendance : 9,214
Assists : Kolarov, Raimondi, n/a

NAPOLI 2 (Quagliarella 43, Quagliarella 83)
ATALANTA 0

Atalanta's hopeless defence failed to track Quagliarella as he moved out wide onto a Denis pass, ran into the box and slammed a shot in off a post. He headed in his second, and 11th of the season, from a Bogliacino cross.

Despite a poor run of results which saw Napoli miss out on a Champions League place the fans celebrated the clubs Europa league qualification. Let's hope they take the competition seriously.

Attendance : 50,000
Assists : Denis, Bogliacino

PALERMO 1 (Miccoli 68 Pen)
SAMPDORIA 1 (Pazzini 54 Pen)

Palermo found it tough to break down a defensive minded Sampdoria and fell behind against the run of play when Pazzini made the most of a Sirigu's stupid attempt to claim the ball to win a penalty. Zauri should have been sent off for shoulder tackling Miccoli off the ball. An injured Miccoli got up to convert the penalty but had to be substituted. His replacement, Budan, missed an open goal.

That's probably it as far as Palermo's Champions League hopes go. They're away to Atalanta, which should be an easy three points. Samp are at home to Napoli, who have nothing to play for but are capable of throwing a spanner in the works if the mood takes them and stated their intentions to sign Pazzini for next season.

Attendance : 35,872
Assists : Pazzini (won pen), Miccoli (won pen)

ROMA 2 (Totti 79, Totti 83 Pen)
CAGLIARI 1 (Lazzari 73)

Roma hit the woodwork three times, were denied a penalty for blatant handball and Totti missed an open goal. Conti touched a free kick to Lazzari and his rapier missile of a shot pierced the bottom corner of Julio Sergio's net. Totti equalised with a shot across goal then only just beat Lupatelli from the spot after Biondini handled.

Attendance : 50,000
Assists : Conti (fk), Menez, n/a

UDINESE 3 (Di Natale 21, Pepe 26, Di Natale 63)
BARI 3 (Barreto 18, Koman 39, Almiron 93)

Barreto blew an early penalty but having missed from 12 yards he did a lot better from 20, his shot bounced past Handanovic. Di Natale levelled within three minutes with a crisp first time strike from an Isla centre. It was his 100th Serie A goal and the players celebrated by putting a plastic gold crown on his head. Pepe pulled down a Di Natale crossfield pass before blasting a half volley into the corner. Donati miscued a first time pass from a short corner, the Udinese defence pushed up and Koman snuck up on Lukovic and volleyed Bari level. Di Natale turned onto a lovely first time pass, side stepped a defender and struck a perfectly placed low shot in off a post. Almiron's injury time header snatched an irrelevant point for Bari.

Attendance : 14,000
