Udinese were the better side and should have been awarded a second half penalty for a clear trip on Floro Flores. Udinese's reserve goalkeeper, who came for Handanovic after just six minutes, showed his inexperience when he hesitated on a cross, Sculli had his back to play, leapt in the air and connected with a stunning flick header, almost completing a full rotation as he landed. Six minutes later he was replaced by SOKRATIS! The absolutely rubbish bordering on crooked Ayroldi showed Sanchez a second yellow for his mocking applause after he finally gave a decision in Udinese's favour. Milito ended a run of five games without a goal when he tapped in an injury time second.

Balotelli ran onto a clearance and passed to Stankovic, his first time back heel took out four defenders and as they pushed up Cambiasso lobbed wide of Puggioni. Mancini, give a rare opportunity with nothing at stake, cut in from the left and punished Valdez for his stupidity, taking up the defenders offer of an outstretched leg to win a penalty. Ibrahimovic dribbled past four defenders and went joint top of the goalscoring charts with a magnificent left footed lob.

Castillo controlled Benussi's booming goalkick on his chest and broke two tackles before threading a pass between Atalanta's centrebacks to Caserta, an excellent first touch took him away from the defence and as Consigli came off his line he took the ball wide before tapping into the net. Atalanta also went route one for their opening goal. Floccari turned onto a misdirected header and sent a ball over the top for Padoin to chase down, as Benussi came off his line the midfielder lobbed over him into an empty net. The duo combined to put Atalanta into the lead. Floccari sent Padoin clear of Lecce's offside trap, he checked inside a defender with his left foot before blasting a right foot shot into the bottom corner. Atalanta's 22 year old goalkeeper made two World Class saves before a harsh handball decision gave Caserta an injury time equaliser from the penalty spot.

Pisano had a handful of Pazzini's shirt but couldn't prevent the striker from turning onto Franceschini's pass and firing in his 9th goal of the season. Cassano made Sampdoria's second with a glorious disguised pass which Sammarco whipped inside the right post. Torino got back in the game with a fantastic goal. 22 year old Swiss midfielder Dzemaili showed great strength to hold off Pazzini as he ran across the by-line and Bianchi met his centre with a nonchalant back heel. Cassano made the points safe with an angled drive.

Giovinco wriggled away from the left flank after playing a one-two with Poulsen, he passed to Iaquinta, the Roma defence were very slow to close him down and he took advantage by firing low into the bottom right corner. Loria, the worst player in Serie A, connected with a Menez corner to equalise. Roma's joy was short lived. Grygera's cross took a wild deflection off Riise, falling kindly to Iaquinta who towered above Mexes to head Juve back into the lead. The injury plagued Mellberg made it 1-3 with a bullet header from a Del Piero corner and Roma's inability to deal with crosses cost them a fourth goal. Panucci didn't get enough distance on a clearing header and Nedved, on as a late sub for Tiago, ran onto the ball before thumping a left foot volley into the bottom corner.
Serie A will welcome the absence of Roma from next season's Champions League. They are bloody rubbish.
