PALERMO 3-4

PARMA

Bresciano 37

Budan 25

Di Michele 45 (Pen)

Couto 47

Zaccardo 90

Gasbarroni 71

Rossi 80

Budan rode a tackle in the box as he ran onto a Rossi pass, Jimmy covered his
near post and watched in agony as Budan's shot trickled over the line. Cavani
hooked a cross to the back post and Bresciano tapped in the equaliser against
his former club. The ref gave Palermo a ridiculous penalty for a supposed
handball by Couto and Di Michele sent Bucci the wrong way, giving the Sardinians
a half time lead.

Couto jumped off the back of Zaccardo to head in the equaliser from a corner.
Pisano was shown a straight red for an awful studs up foul on Dessena.
Gasbarroni put Parma back into the lead with an excellent first time strike,
curling Morfeo's lay-off inside the top right corner. Morfeo found Rossi in
space on the edge of the box with a trademark disguised pass and as Jimmy threw
himself at the ball Rossi lobbed into an empty net. Biava headed back a half
cleared corner and Zaccardo volleyed in from close range.

Attendance : 21,472
Red Card : Pisano 58 (Palermo)

ATALANTA 2-1

ROMA

Doni 36

Perrotta 64

Zampagna 43

Had Roma approached this match as they had Wednesday's match against Inter they
may have took all three points but that was never likely, especially without
Totti (injured). Pinto, one of the best wingers in Serie A this season, swung a
cross into the box and Doni out-jumped Panucci, which is no mean feat as that's
his main strength, to power a header past Doni. Zampagna scored a spectacular
second. With his back to goal he received a pass from Doni, flicked the ball in
the air, turned and dropped a volley into the bottom corner. Similar to the
classic goal Henry scored against Man United some seasons ago. Perrotta played a
one-two with Vucinic before tapping into an empty net. Ferrari was sent off for
speeding.

Attendance : 15,000
Red Card : Ferrari 93 (Roma)
Assists : Pinto, Doni, Vucinic

CHIEVO 2-1

LIVORNO

Pellissier 56

Lucarelli 18

Bogdani 76

Chievo screwed up offside as Coppola headed a clearance back into the box,
Lucarelli, bizarrely linked with Manchester United, pulled the ball down before
firing into the corner. Amelia, another of those fringe 'keepers (like De Sanctis)
who isn't having the best of seasons, was too slow coming off his line to attack a
deflected cross and Pellissier hooked a volley into the net. Bogdani
headed in the winner from Luciano's corner.

Attendance : 5,433
Assists : Coppola, n/a, Luciano (ck)

UDINESE

Amoruso 85 (Pen)

Muntari 26

Muntari took advantage of horrendous marking on a set piece to head Udinese into
the lead. Amoruso scored his 12th goal of the season from the penalty spot.

Attendance : 11,000
Assists : D'Agostino (fk), Lucarelli (won pen)

SIENA 1-2

INTER

Negro 21

Materazzi 18

Materazzi 60 (Pen)

With Manninger beaten a brilliant goal-line clearance denied Maicon a certain
goal from a corner but Materazzi fired in the rebound. Galloppa played a half
cleared corner back into the box, Rinaudo headed the ball across goal and Negro
headed in at the back post. Materazzi converted a twice taken penalty to clinch
a deserved 15th scudetto for Inter and become the first legitimate champions of
Italy since 2004.

SAMPDORIA 3-1

MESSINA

Ziegler 14

Rigano 54

Franceschini 84
Delvecchio 89

A Messina defender tried to bring the ball out of defence but ran straight into
Ziegler and the midfielder, on loan from Spurs, blasted the ball past Paoletti.
Rigano punished Samp for screwing up offside to equalise. Franceschini swept in
a volley from Ziegler's corner and Delvecchio plundered a third on the break,
coolly lobbed the ball inside Paoletti's right hand post after the 'keeper had
strayed off his line.

Attendance : n/a
Assists : n/a, Masiello, Ziegler (ck), Bazzani

MILAN 3-1

CAGLIARI

Ronaldo 14, 69

Suazo 74 (Pen)

Pirlo 79 (fk)

Cafu beat Del Grosso to a 50-50 ball on the edge of the box with a dangerous
sliding tackle that floored the defender and Ronaldo tapped in his centre at the
back post. The goal should never have stood, not that it would have made a
difference. Cafu turned provider again in the second half, this time Chimenti
jumped for a high cross but completely missed and Ronaldo knocked the ball in
with his chest. Kaladze fouled Capone to concede a penalty and Suazo sent Kalac
the wrong way. Pirlo ended any hopes of a Cagliari comeback with a magnificent
30 yard free kick.

Attendance : 43,728
Red Card : Kaladze 86 (Milan)
Assists : Cafu, Cafu, Capone (won pen), Pirlo (won fk)
