CAGLIARI 2-0

ATALANTA

Suazo 5
Pepe 72

Suazo turned onto Colucci's through pass before firing into the corner, only his
third goal from open play this season, the other five have been scored from the
penalty spot. Speaking of which, Doni blew one on the half hour mark. Suazo was
also involved in the build up for Cagliari's second, he released Biondini in
space on the left with a nonchalant disguised pass and Pepe headed in the
midfielder's cross.

Attendance : 10,000
Red Card : Adriano 66 (Atalanta)
Assists : Colucci, Biondini

CATANIA 1-1

SIENA

Corona 56

Cozza 74

A brace of errors lead to Catania taking the lead. Antonini headed a penalty box
cross straight up in the air, Morimoto headed at goal, Manninger should have
held but punched the ball straight to Corona and despite horribly miss kicking
his volley the ball bounced into the net. Catania got caught with a simple pass
through the centre of their defence for the equaliser.

FIORENTINA 5-1

TORINO

Toni 31, 34

Rosina 15

Franceschini 52 (og)

Gamberini 74, 83

Gallo dropped a beautiful pass over the top of the Fiorentina defence sending
Rosina clear and he scored at the second attempt. Toni equalised with a scruffy,
back heel following a tremendous run and cross by Reginaldo and three minutes
later while he was wrestling with Franceschini as Dainelli flicked on a corner,
the ball bounced hit his thigh and bounced into the net. Franceschini sliced
Pasqual's centre into his own net, Gamberini headed in two goals and there was
still time for Mutu to miss a penalty.

MESSINA 2-0

PALERMO

Rigano 45, 65

No Bresciano or Corini for Palermo in addition to long term casualty Amauri so
this was always going to be a hard match, even against crappy opposition.
Christian Rigano returned after three months out with a groin strain and took
45 minutes to make his mark, heading in Alvarez's fabulous touchline cross.
Caracciolo was sent off for pushing the ref after he turned down the striker's
penalty appeals. Four minutes later Alvarez served up another cross for Rigano
to make it 2-0.

Attendance : 23,000
Red Card : Caracciolo 61 (Palermo)
Assists : Alvarez, Alvarez

PARMA 2-2

REGGINA

Budan 23

Bianchi 13, 40

Rossi 96 (Pen)

Bianchi blasted Reggina into the lead with an emphatic finish from Mesto's
centre. Couto flicked on a corner and Budan got the faintest of touches to score
despite having his shirt aggressively tugged by Alessandro Lucarelli. Five minutes
later, Camoagnolo saved his second penalty of the week, Bianchi hit a stunning right
foot shot from 20 yards past Bucci. Rossi converted a last gasp penalty and then held
his nerve again after the rubbish Farina ordered him to re-take it for encroachment.

Attendance : 13,500
Assists : Mesto, Couto, Tedesco, Muslimovic (won pen)

ROMA

Soncin 31

Wilhelmsson 85

Soncin was surrounded by Roma defenders as he collect a pass inside the penalty
area, he managed to wriggle free of Chivu before shooting past Curci. Wilhelmsson
sparred the Giallorossi's blushes with a tap-in after Pizarro drew a save from
Eleftheropoulos.

LIVORNO 1-2

INTER

Lucarelli 27 (fk)

Cruz 34

Rezai 66 (og)

Lucarelli gave Livorno the lead with a 20 yard free kick. Cruz equalised from an
extremely gay looking Ibrahimovic assist. Grosso chipped a ball upto the giant
Swede, he jumped in the air and completely miss-hit the ball, volleying it into
the ground but the bounce was kind to Cruz who lashed in a half volley on the
turn. Ibrahimovic's low free kick took a decisive deflection off Rezai.

Attendance : 5,600
Red Card : Maicon 82 (Inter)
Assists : Lucarelli (won fk), Ibrahimovic, n/a

MILAN 3-1

CHIEVO

Gilardino 33

Pellissier 17

Oddo 55
Seedorf 93

Pellissier gave injury hit Chievo a shock lead thanks to another blunder from
Barcelona bound (if rumours are to be believed) Dida. Bonera tried to shepard a
through pass to Dida, Dida rushed out of his box, squatted down, watched the
ball and... took out Bonera leaving Pellissier with an empty net. Gilardino
equalised after Squizzi failed to hold a violent Kaka' strike. Ronaldo attempted
to play a one-two with Kaka' but with FOUR players surrounding him he had
nowhere to go so flicked the ball out wide to Oddo and from the right hand edge
of the box he thundered a right foot into the opposite corner and Seedorf added a
brilliant third, whipping the ball inside Squizzi's post after Pirlo and Brocchi teed up
a free kick.
