UDINESE 1-0 PALERMO
Mauri 59

Assist : Jankulovski

FIORENTINA 4-0 LECCE
Jorgensen 45
Obodo 62, 71
Chiellini 90

Sicignano had an absolute nightmare. He parried Jorgensen's cross into his own
net on the stroke of half time and mid-way through the second half ran out of
his box and cleared straight to Nakata and Obodo took over to lob in from
40 yards. Nakata ran clear to set up Odobo for an easy tap in and Chiellini
completed the route after another failed offside attempt.

Attendance : 30,500
Assists : n/a, Nakata (x2), Odobo

JUVENTUS 3-0 CHIEVO
Zalayeta 24
Nedved 65
Ibrahimovic 79

Chievo screwed up offside allowing Zalayeta to volleyed Juve into the lead from
Blasi's superb pass. The newly shorn Ibrahimovic combined with Kapo on the left,
Nedved took a step forward before hitting a stunning right foot shot past
Marchegiani. Chievo actually created several chances in this match but given
they have only scored 7 goals the Juve defence weren't taking them seriously.
Ibrahimovic showed them how it's done when he controlled Thuram's long ball on
his chest and volleyed into the corner.

Attendance : 22,000
Assists : Blasi, Kapo, Thuram

LIVORNO 2-1 BRESCIA
A Lucarelli 45 Caracciolo 25
Doga 72

Alessandro Lucarelli made up for gifting the lead to Brescia by heading his team level from
his brother's corner. Doga headed in the winner after one of the Lucarelli brothers shot
against the crossbar. Nygaard was sent off for protesting after the ref failed to award him
a stone wall penalty.

MESSINA 2-1 REGGINA
Zampagna 65 Bonazzoli 33
Di Napoli 74

Messina ended a run of three defeats to climb back into the top four which says
a lot for how inconsistent all but the top two teams are this season. Bonazzoli
gave Reggina the lead from a throw in. Parisi touched on a free kick to Zampagna
and his shot proved too hot to handle for Pavarini, not because it was a
great shot, although it was struck with some venom, but because he's a crap
'keeper. Less than ten minutes later he flapped at a cross and Di Napoli headed
in the winner.

Attendance : 28,000
Assists : Colucci, Parisi (fk), Yanagisawa

PARMA 2-2 ATALANTA
Gilardino 40, 55 (Pen) Budan 45
							Montolovio 76

Gilardino held off two defenders before turning sharply and blasting into the corner.
Budan headed in the equaliser right on half time. Gilardino finally succeeded in wining a
penalty after going down twice in the first half. Montolovio earned a point with a precise
shot from the edge of the box.

Atalanta have yet to win a match and that's despite scoring more goals than every team
in the bottom half of the table.

Attendance : 12,000
Assists : n/a, Mingazzini, Gilardino (won pen), Mingazzini

ROMA 5-1 CAGLIARI
Dellas 2 Suazo 31
Totti 6 (Pen)
Perrotta 64
Montella 90, 92

Dellas took a boot to the face as he threw himself at De Agostino's corner and headed
Roma into the lead. Totti blasted in a penalty. Patrick Swayze got Cagliari back in the match
with another fantastic long range strike. Totti failed to take advantage of more charitable
refereeing when missing a penalty. Perrotta restored Roma's two goal lead before Montella,
on as a substitute for the disappointing Cassano, put them out of sight with two late,
late goals.

Attendance : 55,000
Assists : De Agostino (ck), De Rossi (won pen), Maltagliati, n/a, Mancini, n/a

SIENA 1-1 BOLOGNA

lead. Chiesa hit a brilliant equaliser, he cut in from the left before curling the ball inside
the top corner.

Attendance : 8,000
Assists : Tare, Pecchia

30 October 2004

SAMPDORIA 0-1 MILAN
							Shevchenko 75

Shevchenko didn't start as he was with his wife the previous night when she gave birth to
their first child, a boy they named Jordan - after Jordan from New Kids on the Block
because their favourite song is Cover Girl, probably.

Attendance : 30,000
Assist : n/a

INTER 1-1 LAZIO
Adriano 46 Talamonti 84

Seven draws in nine games isn't good enough. The first half was terrible the second was
all Inter. Adriano scored 18 seconds into the restart when he outpaced Couto onto a
Mihajlovic long ball. Talamonti got above Mihajlovic to head in Oddo's free kick and give
Lazio a point they didn't deserve.

Attendance : 67,000
Assists : Mihajlovic, Oddo (fk)
