JUVENTUS 2-0 ROMA
Del Piero 31
Zalayeta 74

Juve gained some revenge for their 4-0 thrashing at the hands of Roma last
season by ending Roma's rapidly fading hopes of winning the scudetto. Del Piero
scored from open play again, this time from the edge of the box after Camoranesi
laid off Ibrahimovic's cross. Zalayeta had an immediate impact after coming on
as a sub for Del Piero. He collected the ball in his own half and beat two Roma
players before playing a one-two with Ibrahimovic, as he ran into the box Cufre
got a touch leaving Ferrari with a simple clearance but he missed the ball, 2-0.
Emerson earned a second yellow for pulling down Cassano.

CAGLIARI 2-1 PARMA
Abeijon 45 Marchionni 62
Esposito 84

There is no review due to Rai not showing highlights, unless they showed them
right at the end of the show which isn't how they usually do things. Italia 1
only showed the winning goal and even then the commentator's didn't mention who
took the free kick and google wasn't very helpful :

40' st: left punishment from of Hunchbacks and the sudden decision winning of
Esposito on the angle to the right of Frey.

Attendance : 15,000
Red Card : Cannavaro 42 (Parma)
Assists : n/a, n/a, Gobbi (fk)

It seems Gobbi is Italian for Hunchbacks. That is REALLY useful to know.

CHIEVO 0-2 SAMPDORIA
							Volpi 32
							Diana 35

Before this match Chievo had the second best defence in the league. Three
minutes changed that. Volpi fired a loose ball through a ruck of players and
Marchegiani was beaten by another long range shot when Diana's effort flew in
off the underside of the crossbar.

Attendance : 8,334
Assists : Bazzani, Flachi

LAZIO 2-0 MESSINA
Manfredini 35
De Souza 64

This was a big win for Lazio who like Messina were coming off two successive
defeats. After hitting the woodwork and missing an absolute sitter Manfredini
was fouled on the edge of the D as he crossed, a Messina defender sliced the
ball in the air, Rezai headed clear but Manfredini was back on his feet, pulled
the ball down and fired into the bottom corner. De Souza, on as a sub for the
injured Muzzi, scored first Serie A goal when combining with another of the club's
youngsters.

Attendance : 30,000
Assists : n/a, Pandev

LECCE 2-2 INTER
Bojinov 36, 49 Adriano 3
							Martins 33

Inter had already gone close before Adriano headed in Martins' cross. There were
about a million chances in the next half hour for both sides including some
fantastic long range strikes. Cambiasso rolled back Veron's pass for Martins to
score Inter's second. Even taking into account Inter's defence is the shits a
two goal lead should have been enough. Cambiasso, who had a hand in both Inter
goals, gave away possession in his own half with a sloppy header and Bojinov
thundered the ball into the top corner from 20 yards, outstanding goal.
Sicignano flew off his line to save from Martins and minutes later Lecce were
level. Bojinov left Materazzi for dead and flicked the ball wide of Fontana.
Adriano missed an absolute sitter and Zanetti hit an awful shot from a wide
angle with Martins unmarked in the centre.

We're only a few months into Mancini's reign at the club but right now Inter
resemble Kevin Keegan's Newcastle, watching them is like watching a train wreck.
One World Class defender on the flanks isn't enough and Cambiasso and Davids
aren't good enough to dominate midfield. I'm not convinced by Fontana either.
Expect some new arrivals in the Winter.

MILAN 3-0 ATALANTA
Tomasson 53
Kaladze 70
Serginho 91

The only surprise about this match was that it only ended 3-0. Tomasson showed
the composure that had been lacking this season when he pulled down an exquisite
pass from Pirlo, turned and rolled the ball inside the post. Kaladze started and
finished a lovely move which involved Rui Costa and Shevchenko. Serginho also
scored his first goal of the season when he ran onto Rui Costa's long ball,
ignored Shevchenko, nutmegged Taibi and fired into the net.

Coloccini started his first game for Milan as Ancelotti decided to give Nesta
the night off. He did well although his haircut is simply unacceptable in the
fashion capital of the World.

Attendance : 57,500
Assists : Pirlo, Shevchenko, Rui Costa

PALERMO 1-2 LIVORNO
Murarelli 5 Vidigal 37
							Lucarelli C 60

After taking an early lead the last thing anyone expected was Palermo losing
this one. Vidigal blasted in the equaliser following a mistake by Grosso and
Lucarelli's deflected free kick ended what has been a profitable 4 days for
Livorno.

Toni was wearing a condom on his head to protect a cut, even dickheads practice
safe sex. Palermo played well and lost, again. They are too reliant on Toni's
goals. This club desperately need another striker.

REGGINA 1-2 FIORENTINA
Paredes 59 Maresca 72
							Miccoli 88

New coach three points. From his grave even Ray Charles could see Mondonico
wasn't the right man for the job. Reggina took the lead against the run of play
from a corner. Maresca blasted in the equaliser after Pavarini parried Viali's
fierce shot. Jorgensen danced around the Reggina defence before poking the ball
through a posse of players, Miccoli timed his run superbly, rounded the 'keeper
and tapped into an empty net.

Attendance : 15,000
Assists : Nakamura (ck), n/a, Jorgensen
