REGGINA 0-1 SAMPDORIA
							Bazzani 36

Assist : Volpi

BOLOGNA 2-1 ATALANTA
Bellucci 37 (Pen) Budan 12
Amoroso 60

Budan ran onto Di Natale's long ball and poked the ball into the corner. Both 'keepers
made phenomenal saves before Bologna levelled from the spot after Giunti dived in
the box. Amoroso took the points with a grass cutter. Tons of chances for both sides and
Taibi made another magnificent save late on from Loviso.

Attendance : 17,000
Assists : Di Natale, Giunti (won pen), Bellucci

BRESCIA 3-1 PARMA
Di Biagio 25 (fk) Gilardino 11
Caracciolo 27
Mannini 47

Gilardino gave Parma the perfect start in this six pointer against fellow strugglers
Brescia, blasting a right foot shot past Castelazzi after Morfeo threaded the ball
through the Brescia defence. The home side hit back with two goals in two minutes
the first of which was an extraordinary free kick from Di Biagio, struck from around
35 yards. Caracciolo headed in Domizzi's free kick and Mannini completed the rout
when he volleyed in a loose ball.

Attendance : 6,900
Assists : Morfeo, won fk?, Domizzi (fk), n/a

CAGLIARI 0-1 MILAN
							Pirlo 20

Pirlo gave a complacent Milan side, who clearly had their minds set on Barca, all
three points with a fantastic individual goal.

Attendance : 20,000
Assist : Seedorf

FIORENTINA 0-0 SIENA

The fixture list has been very kind to Fiorentina, they don't play anyone decent until
week 9 when they are at home to Lecce then home to Inter. Hopefully they'll get an
almighty thrashing in one of these games and we'll see the end of that useless bastard
Mondonico.

Attendance : 34,000

INTER 3-1 UDINESE
Adriano 7 (fk), 12 Mauri 51
Vieri 57

The quality of Adriano's goals was such that no one who sees this match or the goals
will forget them for as long as they live. His first was a ludicrously powerful free kick
from about 40 yards and five minutes later he almost certainly became only the second
play after George Weah to run the length of the pitch and score. Inter were defending
a corner and Veron stuck out a foot, Adriano ran onto the ball and a quick change of
direction sent Felipe crashing to the ground, Bertotto tracked him back and
Jankulovski arrived for support, he went past both of them before hammering the ball
into the bottom corner. Attack of course hasn't been a problem for Inter, defending has
and three of them stood and watching Mauri receive a pass and score. Vieri put paid
to any chance of a comeback when he held off Cribari to score his first goal in open
play since March.

THE best goals are scored in Serie A. Toldo was on the bench.

Attendance : 62,000
Assists : Vieri (won fk), Veron, Di Michele, Adriano

LAZIO 0-1 CHIEVO
							Brighi 71

Attendance :
Red Card : Tiribocchi 35 (Chievo)
Assist : Amauri

LECCE 2-0 PALERMO
Vucinic 49, 80

What a bloody great match. Sicignano kept the visitors at bay with some fabulous saves
one in particular, from Barone's 35 yard strike, was breathtaking. Against the run of play
Lecce took the lead. Palermo screwed up playing offside forcing Guardalben off his line
and substitute Vucinic lobbed into an empty net. Palermo kept bombing forward,
Giacomazzi cleared off the line, Toni missed an open goal and Brienza's ferocious drive
left the crossbar shaking. Just as it seemed an equaliser was only a matter of time
Giacomazzi slipped in Vucinic for his second.

Attendance : 18,000
Assists : Giacomazzi (x2)

16 October 2004

JUVENTUS 2-1 MESSINA
Zalayeta 25 Zampagna 68
Nedved 54

Juve should have had more to show for their first half dominance than Zalayeta's
bullet header. Messina were much improved in the second half but after missing
their best chance conceded a second on the break. Nedved, who came in for some
fierce treatment, finished off a lovely move. Ibrahimovic displayed his range of
extravagant skills in the build up. With his back to play he controlled a cross
on his chest before volleying into the path of Camoranesi, he returned the ball,
Ibrahimovic nutmegged Rezai then chipped the ball into the box and Nedved
volleyed in off the post. Zampagna got Messina back in the match with an
excellent volley on the turn. Zalayeta was substituted after missing two
absolute sitters.

Attendance : 12,000
Assists : Camoranesi, Ibrahimovic, Zanchi

LIVORNO 0-2 ROMA
							Totti 30
							Montella 68

No Capello is good times for Montella who has always been one of the very best
strikers in Serie A. He made the first goal for Totti after his shot spun up off the
heels of a defender, he controlled the ball on his chest then chipped upto Totti
who volleyed through a ruck of players. Montella went top of the scoring charts
with a fantastic second, blasting the ball into the bottom corner from wide left on
goal.

Roma's idiot president should have put his political differences aside and appointed
Del Neri as Prandelli's replacement instead of the untested Voller.

Attendance : 20,000
Assists : Montella, Totti
