ROMA 3-3 INTER
Montella 8 Cambiasso 45
Totti 56 (fk) Mexes 51 (og)
De Rossi 73 Recoba 53

Ze Maria ball watched Mancini's cross float into the box and didn't bother making a
challenge as Montella took the ball on his chest and blasted into the top corner.
Cambiasso scored his first goal for Inter at the end of the half when he headed
Recoba's cross emphatically past Toldo.

Two mistakes from Mexes gave Inter what should have been an unassailable lead. After
slicing Veron's show past his own 'keeper his untimely slip allowed Recoba to burst into
the box and he beat Toldo with a ferocious drive inside his near post. Totti began the
comeback with an outstanding free kick from absolutely miles away from goal, his 100th
in Serie A. Another Totti free kick lead to the equaliser, Dellas, on as a sub for the
staggeringly poor Panucci, headed across goal, Mido threw himself at the ball, it deflected
to De Rossi and he controlled on his chest before volleying past Toldo.

It's matches like these i.e. matches between the top clubs that set Serie A apart from
every other league.

ATALANTA 1-1 LAZIO

MESSINA 4-1 SIENA
Parisi 33 Conte 40 (og)
Di Napoli 35, 54
Amoruso 83 (Pen)

Parisi received the ball on the left flank and tried his luck from distance, the ball took a
wicked deflection off Cirillo past Manninger. CM0304 star Zoro rode two tackles before
passing to journeyman striker Di Napoli and he showed great skill to beat Mignani - by
fouling him, then shot into the corner. Conte became the third Messina player to get
on the score sheet in five minutes but at the wrong end. Di Napoli exchanged passes
with Zampagna, who has done a lot more to earn an Italy cap then Cagliari's Esposito,
before blasting a half volley into the corner, beautiful goal. Amoruso put away a penalty
for a slightly flattering fourth.

MILAN 3-1 REGGINA
Shevchenko 11, 89 Franceschini 59
Kaka' 66

Shevchenko took a pass from Kaka', stepped inside two players and hammered into
the roof of the net. Milan's poor defending from set pieces allowed Reggina back in
the match. Franceschini got above Maldini to head in Nakamura's free kick. Maldini
cannot jump. Cafu launched a long ball downfield, Shevchenko tried to round Storari
but the 'keeper got a touch, Shevchenko recovered and centred for Kaka', 2-1. Boriello,
on loan from Milan, had a goal disallowed for no reason whatsoever, apparently for a
foul on Nesta. Shevchenko then raced downfield and cracked the ball into the bottom
corner from 25 yards.

Kaka' seems to have recovered from his poor start to the season now all Milan need to
do is sort out their defence.
