3 February 2005
BOLOGNA 3-1

PARMA

Sussi 55

Sorrentino 87

Amoroso 72
Bellucci 93

Sussi gave Bologna the lead with an outstanding solo goal. He skinned Bonera before
cutting in from the left flank and beat another player before sweeping the ball past
Frey. A rare mistake by Frey allowed Bologna to double their advantage when he
failed to hold Amoroso's tame shot. Sorrentino turned in Morfeo's cross and with
Parma pushing forward Bologna caught them on the break, Locatelli's backheel
was despatched emphatically by Bellucci.

FIORENTINA

PALERMO

Miccoli 71

Lupatelli 57 (og)

Gonzalez 69

Toni powered a header at goal, as Lupatelli leapt across to save, the ball ricochet off
the post, against the back of his head and into the net. Gonzalez added a fantastic
third, Toni, the best target man in the business, returned the midfielders pass with a
sublime flick, Gonzalez ran into the space left by the defenders marking the big man
and as he beat a defender he rolled the ball inside the post. Outstanding pass and
outstanding finish. Miccoli gave Fiorentina hope when he smashed in after the
visitors failed to clear a corner but it was Palermo who almost grabbed a third.

Attendance : 29,000

INTER 1-0

ATALANTA

Martins 33

1-0, could have been at least four. Inter had two shots cleared off the line and
numerous other opportunities. Adriano is still out injured.

Attendance : 48,500

JUVENTUS 0-1

SAMPDORIA

Diana 33

Castellini headed a cross against the bar, Diana was first to the rebound and poked the
ball over the line with everyone appealing for offside and he sure looked offside. After
an insipid, lifeless first half performance Capello threw on Ibrahimovic for Tacchinardi.
The giant Swede brought Juve's attack to life and forced Antonioli into making two
excellent saves and laid on a chance for Trezeguet which he failed to take.

Del Piero played the whole match and did nothing, apart from shoot straight at
Antonioli.

LECCE 1-1

ROMA

Vucinic 89

Giacomazzi 49 (og)

A wide open game with lots of chances and awful, awful defending. Giacomazzi gave
Roma the lead when he headed Totti's corner past his own 'keeper. Ledesma was
sent off for throwing his fists into Cassano's face. Vucinic played a double one-two
with Konan before beating Zotti with a slow shot inside his post.

Mexes is rubbish. The hype surrounding him was totally exaggerated.

Attendance : 13,402
Red Card : Ledesma 69 (Lecce)
Assists : n/a, Konan

LIVORNO 1-1

REGGINA

Vidigal 85

Paredes 14

Franceschini headed a corner against the underside of the crossbar and Paredes
headed in the rebound. Bonazzoli wasted a great chance to make the points safe
before Vidigal scored a deserved winner when he crashed home after some fine ball
juggling by Lucarelli.

Attendance : 13,000

MESSINA 1-4

MILAN

Zampagna 30

Crespo 9, 64

Tomasson 18, 92

Seedorf did a pirouette in midfield before threaded a ball through to Kaka' he back
heeled into the path of Crespo who ran through a tackle before slotting past the
'keeper. Tomasson knocked in a second after Storari weakly punched Cafu's cross at
him. Yanigasawa tried to flick on a cross, the ball took a deflection off his heel and
ballooned up in the air, Zampagna was first to react and beat Dida with an overhead
kick.

Kaka', who had a super match (he's great as long as he doesn't shoot), returned
Crespo's pass via a dummy by Cafu, Crespo shut under Storari as he rushed off his
line. Storari should have been sent off after he floored Kaka'. Having made bad
decisions all night he guessed right on Pirlo's spot kick then returned to form when
he let Tomasson's tame shot squirm through his hands.

Attendance : 35,000
Assists : n/a, n/a, Yanagisawa, Kaka', Seedorf

SIENA 2-2

CAGLIARI

Chiesa 4

Lopez 58

Flo 36

Bianchi 85

Cagliari are crap away from home, Siena are just plain crap. Chiesa raced onto
Taddei's long ball and slotted past Iezzo. Flo made it 2-0 when he headed in a Chiesa
free kick. Several players jumped for Zola's free kick, none of them played for Siena,
I'm not sure why they didn't bother defending the cross but the end result for a goal
for Lopez. He was then sent off for punishing Chiesa in the ribs. Bianchi headed in
the equaliser when Zola served up a fantastic cross. Siena had two late goals
disallowed for offside and a foul.

Attendance : 7,000
Red Cards : Pasquale 57 (Siena), Lopez 65 (Cagliari)
Assists : Taddei, Chiesa (fk), Zola (fk), Zola

UDINESE 3-0

CHIEVO

Jankulovski 47

Sensini 51

Iaquinta 81

Chievo were unlucky not to be leading at half time. Jankulovski volleyed Iaquinta's
brilliant cross over Marchegiani and four minutes later Sensini sent a header looping
into the net. Udinese were getting all the breaks and Chievo had a goal disallowed for
an apparent foul on the 'keeper. Marchegiani then did an Almunia, came off his line
to the edge of the box leaving Jankulovski to float a cross to the back post and Iaquinta
with an empty net.

Attendance : 15,000
Assists : Iaquinta, Pizarro (fk), Jankulovski
