flicked it up, turned and from about 35 yards volleyed into the top corner.
Bologna were awarded a soft penalty when Mandelli tugged at Tare's shirt on a
free kick. Bellucci sent Marchegiani the wrong way.

Rigano chested down a cross for Miccoli to volley into the corner. Di Canio
was miles offside (as were two other Lazio players) when he equalised. Pandev
played a one-two with Liverani on the edge of the box and fired past Lupatelli
then laid on the third for Dabo, whose clever first time shot caught out the
'keeper. Miccoli and Rigano combined once against for Fiorentina's second.

INTER 3-2

SAMPDORIA

Martins 88

Tonetto 44

Vieri 91

Kutuzov 83

Recoba 93

Diani sent a first time cross on the turn towards the back post, Emre should have
dealt with it but failed to challenge Tonetto who finished well, shooting in off the
post. With Inter piling forward Samp scored a second goal on the break. Flachi's
clever back heel allowed Diani to continue his run and he found Kutuzov in space
on the left, Kutuzov had a yard on Cordoba and just managed to hold off the
defender before rifling the ball past Toldo. Given how Inter were playing and with
an out of sorts Adriano substituted after missing some easy chances there was no
way there were going to turn this game round. Martins though had other ideas
and shortly after the Inter tifosi started to leave the San Siro he began what was
even by Inter standards a remarkable comeback. Recoba found him on the edge
of the box, a superb first touch with his left foot took him away from a defender and
he toe poked the ball in off the post. The young striker then chased down a ball that
was heading out of play, resisted a push by a defender then hit an overhead kick
towards the penalty area and Vieri volleyed into an empty net. Recoba, who hit the
post and forced Antonioli into a brilliant save with a long range shot, scored a
fantastic winner. Samp couldn't clear their line under immense Inter pressure,
Stankovic touched a clearance onto Recoba and he blasted a low shot right into
the bottom corner.

Melara 80

Ibrahimovic 75

Here's a turn up, a high scoring Juventus game and a good performance by
Del Piero. He headed them into the lead from Olivera's free kick. Camoranesi
tapped in a second after Ibrahimovic's header was deflected onto the crossbar.
Vidigal did however score with a spectacular diving header after Cannavaro and
Zambrotta failed to clear a cross. Zalayeta laid off a hospital pass for
Ibrahimovic to blast into the net. Melara punished more lazy Juve defending,
Camoranesi added a fourth from the spot after Amelia took out Barcelona target
Tacchinardi.

LECCE 1-1

REGGINA

Babu 42

Mozart 45 (Pen)

Reggina had a very lucky escape early on when Vucinic volleyed against the inside of
the post and the ball rebounded to Giacomazzi but fortunately for the away side a
defender was standing right in front of him as he shot. With the Reggina defence
preoccupied with Bojinov he sent Babu clear and he side footed into the net though
Pavarani really should have saved. Sicignano clipped Boriello as he ran through on
goal and Mozart claimed a point from the spot.

Attendance : 13,000
Assists : Bojinov, Boriello (won pen)
