CHIEVO 0-2 MILAN
Shevchenko 46, 50
After Marchegiani denied Rui Costa with a fantastic save the midfielder looked to the heavens
in despair. Del Neri was sent off for arguing with the ref. Pirlo intercepted a hospital pass deep
in the Chievo half, skipped a tackle and ran towards the box then changed direction with
a brilliant dummy before chipped the ball out wide to Gattuso, he fired a first time cross into
the box and Shevchenko leapt above Tomasson to power a header into the net. Shevchenko's
second, from a Rui Costa cross, looked offside. Rui Costa sent Tomasson clear with a brilliant
long range pass but his lob came back off the crossbar. Ancelotti made a rash of substitutions
and Milan comfortably played out time.
Rui Costa's best game in a Milan shirt since the home tie against Real Madrid last year.
Assists : Gattuso, Rui Costa
Red Card : Del Neri 40 (Chievo coach)
ANCONA 1-1 BRESCIA
Berretta 60 Baggio 5
Ancona did a terrible job of playing offside, allowing Baggio to run into space, round
the keeper and roll the ball into an empty net. A brilliant overhead kick gave Ancona a
share of the points.
Attendance : 12,000
Assists : Brighi, Carrus
BOLOGNA 0-4 ROMA
Totti 16
Montella 33
Panucci 38
Cassano 49
Totti began the slaughter with a stunning left foot volley from a short corner. Montella
tapped in after Pagliuca spilled a shot by Cassano and he gave up another rebound when
he parried a Panucci header straight back at him, 0-3. Pagliuca was largely blameless on
both those goals. A wonderful pass by Totti released Cassano, an outstanding first touch
took him away from Torrisi and he hammered the ball into the roof of the net. The
remainder of the match saw Roma play some outrageous football. They could have scored
eight, what a performance.
Cassano is quite possibly THE most gifted player in the World, right up there with
Ibrahimovic. Roma are playing the best football I have seen by ANY team since Capello's
Milan side of the 1991-1992 season.
Attendance : 34,000
Assists : Montella, Totti
EMPOLI 1-0 PARMA
Foggia 91
Frey made two WORLD CLASS saves from Balleri and Di Natale but was once again beaten
by a shot from distance, he really needs to work on his angles.

LAZIO 3-1 PERUGIA
Stankovic 47 Grosso 62
Corradi 87
Inzaghi 94
Stankovic blasted Lazio into the lead after Perugia failed to clear a cross. Grosso scored
a brilliant equaliser, smashing a loose ball through a ruck of players following a slack
clearance. Diamoutene was sent off for going through Favalli. Conceicao and Ignoffo
were sent off for 'fighting', haven't seen the incident so don't know what happened.
A riot broke out on the benches after someone on the Perugia bench hurled abuse at
Giannichedda when he ran to pick up the ball after it had gone out of play. Lazio
profited from some awful defending by Ze Maria to regain the lead. Inzaghi was booked
for a foul then Cosmi lost his rag and went after him, earning himself a red card.
Di Loreto kicked Liverani leaving Perugia down to 8 men. A beautiful lob by Inzaghi
ended a miserable day for the visitors.
Assists : Conceicao?, Stankovic, Corradi
Red Cards : Cosmi & Gaucci (Perugia), Diamoutene 69 (Perugia), Conceicao 86 (Lazio),
Ignoffo 86 (Perugia), Di Loreto 93 (Perugia)
LECCE 0-0 SAMPDORIA
Lecce should have won this comfortably but some terrible finishing, in particular by
Bojinov, cost them a much needed three points.
Attendance : 13,760
UDINESE 1-1 SIENA
Fava 42 Flo 79
Loads of chances in this match. Fava maintained his impressive form when he crashed
a header in off the bar. Someone forgot to mark Flo, they were probably watching
Norway vs Spain, and he equaliser with a very rare quality strike!
Attendance : 16,000
Assist : Pieri, Delli Carri

MODENA 0-2 JUVENTUS
Trezeguet 42
Nedved 50
Modena were caught out by a quickly taken free kick. While they were complaining to the
ref Tacchinardi passed Zambrotta and his center was despatched by Trezeguet. Nedved hit
a fiercely struck low shot inside the post. Juve are SO good against cannon fodder.
Attendance : 20,000
Assists : Zambrotta, ?
INTER 6-0 REGGINA
Cannavaro 32
Martins 42
Van der Meyde 49
Farinos 59
Cruz 66
Vieri 75
I'm not sure what Cannavaro was doing in the Reggina half but he gained possession, took
a look at goal and let fly with a stunning shot from distance. Martins added a second just
before half time, despite being fouled 10 times he stayed on his feet, powered into the box
and shot into the corner. This kid is a genetic freak.
After Van der Meyde scored from a Martin's pass he set up forgotten man Farinos for a rare
goal. Martins completed a hat-trick of assists with two tremendous long range passes for
substitute Cruz and Vieri.
Inter's third straight league win under Zac, 11 goals scored, 0 conceded. Arsenal should be
worried.
Attendance : 70,000
Assists : ?, Martins, Van der Meyde, Martins (x2)
