SERIE A ROUND 31

3 May 2003

ATALANTA 1-1 INTER
Gautieri 70 Martins 13

Morfeo sent Martins clear after intercepting a hospital pass and he calmly slotted into the
corner. Minutes after Toldo had brilliantly saved an overhead kick, he fumbled a tame shot
and Gautieri pounced to equalise.

Cuper rested most of his star players ahead of next week's Milan derby, obviously he's
given up on the title.

came off the bench to win the match. Ambrosio's long ball was headed on and eventually fell to
Pellisier, he hooked the ball over Orlandoni then poked it back across goal and De Franceschi
tapped in. He scored his second from a corner and Bjelanovic made it 3-1 when he capitalised
on a failed offside trap.

LAZIO 0-0 JUVENTUS

Lopez (twice) and Cesar missed great chances as Lazio kept sending crosses into the box -
Juve's major weakness. Collina bottled handball decisions in each half, first by Tacchinardi
then in the second half a 100% blatant handball by Iuliano with Buffon stranded. Lazio
won a penalty at the third time of asking when Castroman went down under a challenge by
Thuram. Fiore's piss poor penalty was easily saved.

Game, set and championship Juve.

excellent chances. Nesta scored his first league goal of the season with an excellent
volley at the far post! Seedorf made his long awaited return from injury, coming on

of the goals of the season. He picked the ball up on the half way line and dribbled past
four players before lobbing it against the crossbar, Shevchenko wasted the rebound.
